I wish we could just get the Grants, Yaks, Lofts etc off the payroll but i can't see it being easy, unfortunately. 

I can only hope that we think keeping him and paying his wages for a season will be worth more to us than the saving on his wages if he left.

I think Garrity might be one of those players that is great for us, as we understand him and love what he does.

If you were a club that spent good money on a goalscoring midfielder you would expect something different to what he is.

I know he's improved his technical ability no end since we signed him, but he's not a creative player, doesn't score worldies, not got great pace or dribbling.

What you do get is the most committed, high energy, ultimate team mate, with a lower league lampard ability of arriving late in the box. It's almost a freaky mix to have an all action combative disrupter that scores goals. However as we have seen the goals only come if played in the right position and as he is adaptable it's easier to shunt him around the midfield.

Anyway I really hope we keep him and he fires us back up.

What people have to realise is that we're a very big club for League Two, with one of the best and most traditional stadiums in the league. Moore, whatever you think about him, has a reputation, as do the owners despite them making mistakes last season. If we also have a healthy budget there's no reason at all why we can't be attracting good players, such as Curtis, and beating other teams to their signature as long as we're willing to match salaries.

If players like Dipepa and Garrity leave it won't be for chocolate buttons, that's for sure. You would think at least some of any funds we get will go back into strengthening the starting 11.

Apparently, Carol's given DM the same budget now as she would if we were in L1. Hence, L1 budget - L1 players (generally).

And she'll pay off the dross where she can!
