We desperately needed an experienced Manager in the dugout last night.

Instead of grasping the nettle and showing leadership last night Flitcroft, the coward, threw lambs to the slaughter.

My Imps mates’ view on Kennedy -

Kennedy was good tbh - he got sacked because he said something to the board they didn’t like. Got us defensively solid, then when he wanted to build an attack they all got injured. Solid enough league 1 manager.
 

He’s a very Flitcroft appointment.

No way is he the manager for us 

We need someone more experienced 

Got to be looking at Ainsworth 

            Moore or Duff 

The cheap option is not the answer 

Sack  Flitcroft the conman asap 

Then  use  the money  you save on his wages to go out and get 

An experienced  no nonsense manager

Manager requirements:-

1) Will you work with DF?

2) Are you happy to let DF control transfers?

3) Will you play a 532 formation passing backwards & sideways?

4) Are you okay playing without strikers?

If answer is YES to all the above, you have the job!

One of the worrying things for me is that apparently we had more points at this stage in the Bruno season than we have now. And we know what happened then...

After the letter it's now absolutely vital that who ever is appointed is a statement of intent.

A lot of parallel with the Bruno season, we started very well then, played some good football at home then nose dived an ended up with a completely useless front line, along with losing 2-3 key players in January.

Whoever is appointed plz play 4 at the back, this 3 at the back is too easily exploited by the opposition

Kennedy for me, good solid league 1 manager not afraid to speak his mind to the board. I can`t see that we will attract anyone better qualified. The system hasn`t really been the problem here it is the players within it and the enforced changes due to injuries. Last night for example we had two up front but only Loft seemed to be interested so we would have been better off playing a winger rather than Wilson..

Only parallel  with Bruno/Smurf is we lost key players in the Jann transfer window. Bruno/smurf were a disaster for vale, they ripped the playing fabric out of the club.
