Ahh yes, armchair Brian! questions whether people have attended games yet sits in his armchair from afar. Priceless🤣

I have never questioned whether people have attended games - clueless

I have supported Vale for over 40 years.

Even though I do not attend games, I still put money into the club every season which equates to more than 2 x adult season tickets - is that ok?

Any idea where I live and why I can not get to game <ovf censored> wit?

You questioned whether I attended the Burton game. You really are a silly Brian if you can't remember a post you made such a short while ago. I have supported the Vale for 62 years if that helps.

I see that you have dwelled on what I said all day until you got home from the pub.

All the love in the world to you for this post.

I'm not a pub person to be honest. Plus I don't dwell on anything in regards to OVF. It's a football forum at the end of the day. We can agree, disagree, have a bit of a pop at each other now and again. Speaking for myself I've forgotten about it by the time I log back in. (when I remember to actually sign out)

Makes you better than me and everyone on here for being a Vale fan for 62 years.

I asked you if you went but did not have a go at you for going or not.

You old age is making you senile. You getting very mixed up with everything you say

The pub is over rated these days anyway.

Look forward to the rest of the season with you.

Up the Vale

I'm not better than any Vale fan for going for 62 years. It was you who brought up the amount of years you had been a Vale fan. It is you that seems to be mixed-up with things you have posted. If I'm senile then you are suffering from delusions sitting in your armchair with your one dimensional view of games and your vitriolic attacks on posters who don't agree with your views.

Hope it all comes together against a Prem team before long.

I was thinking that. They deserve it too. At home I really think we'd give anyone a game. Away too, but like how we go at teams more at home.

Saying that the goal yesterday was a thing of beauty. The ball from Blaster, nice and crisp. That touch from Chislett, under pressure, to skin the defender and set himself up to play in Garrity, that was Prem quality. The finish to boot. Could watch that goal back over and over.

The standard of play is so much higher than that seen for a very long time.

We are a new side coming together. The style of play is a pleasure to watch.

New challenges are presented each game. The last two being good examples.

We are learning all the time, and at some point, we will cope with a side set up like Burton.

Seeing the growth and development is entertaining in itself. Add this to the quality on the field and it's a superb watch.

Glad you are happy, because for the last several games we have been puss poor and the results speak for themselves.

I fear that we are becoming a bit too predictable with the Ripley long ball/pass and seem to be relying on it too often. The patient build up is fine, but then we revert to an albeit,  calculated hoof ball. Also shows how fragile the depth of quality we have, as any speed of movement is comprised if either Ojo or Blaster are unavailable, as noticeable with Chislets abscence. We function best with all three on the pitch,  remove one of them and the fire triangle is broken.  Final ball and finishing is costing us and should be better at this level to capitalise on the good positions that we do create.

We do look a useful side when playing at our best, but are let down by that penalty area instinct and nouse when it matters most. Still, let's see how we develop and adapt as the season progresses.

Chislett is a huge player for us. Real brain around the box. Can only assume he's picked up a knock in training. We need him back sharpish.

If being sixth in the league, exciting to watch and a game away from a League Cup quarter final tie is from being "pxss poor", I'll take it.
