I Love the way we are playing

The standard of play is so much higher than that seen for a very long time.

We are a new side coming together. The style of play is a pleasure to watch.

New challenges are presented each game. The last two being good examples.

We are learning all the time, and at some point, we will cope with a side set up like Burton.

Seeing the growth and development is entertaining in itself. Add this to the quality on the field and it's a superb watch.

Can’t argue much of this, apart from you could easily say we did more than enough against Burton to actually win the game had we taken more of our chances.

I agree. Hopefully in future, we'll handle it from the start, and also not make those elementary mistakes!!

The difference between a playoff spot and mid-table will be keeping hold of Arblaster (and keeping him fit) until the end of the season and getting in reinforcements up front in January. Getting through Sutton on Tuesday could facilitate a sturge on a striker when the transfer window opens. There is no reason why we can't win half our games until the end of the season. That'd almost certainly get us in and amongst the playoff spots. They'll be blips, but we've got a team at our disposal who can go on 3 or 4 game winning runs.

Must say I agree the football is miles better than last season .

It's enjoyable we go at all teams from different angles .

There's a goal threat from all over the park .

We have a enthusiastic team/squad  and for me that's important ,watching the Vale over the years I have felt that they ain't all a one

Long may it continue

I don't expect promotion I don't expect anything really but I expect us to keep going every game trying get positive results .

Im generally pleased

That's pretty much how I feel.

It's a nice place to be.

Pretty relaxing 😎

We have better players, it's that simple. Arblaster and Grant for example are massive upgrades on the likes of Pett and Benning ability wise. Chislett is a better footballer than Butterworth. Considerably better. It's never nice losing, especially against teams like Burton who at our best we would be beating, but a loss is a little less <ovf censored> when you've enjoyed a lot of the football on show still and can see what a team is trying to do even if it doesn't always come off in front of goal.

Completely agree, that's why I've not been overly concerned about the Burton game. We created enough chances win numerous games, and made silly mistakes that cost us. There were so many reasons to be positive despite the disappointment of the result.

My only concern is how we deal with crosses. Hopefully Crosby willing sort that, as he's already shown he can.

My concern is that we have been sussed. If the manager of an out of form Burton team nullified us what will the likes of Derby, Bolton and Portsmouth do? We will know in a couple of weeks time.

They didn't nullify us, we just didn't put our chances in the back of the net. They had 3 shots on target and put them all away, we had 9 shots on target. 19 shots to their 8 in total.

I don't think Burton had us sussed. We were poor for 10 minutes after half time and the ball just didn't fall for us. Hitting the post and straight back into the keepers arms, or straight at the goalkeeper which somehow stuck to him being examples. The fortune just didn't fall our way. Even the very best teams have days where nothing goes for them.

Play that game again 10 times and we win the majority. Burton took their very limited chances and were very fortunate to only concede two. If they had conceded 5 or 6 I don't think they could have complained. It didn't feel like last season when if we went a goal down then the game was over.

We looked a far better team than them skill wise and technical wise but just as with FA Cup upsets it sometimes doesn't matter. Over the course of a season you would hope that our additional ability will shine through though.
