Bristol Rovers having a laugh

Think we are all a bit precious about this .

25 quid for the Bycars for away fans. Which according to the majority on here is a hovel.

Think the OP is basically unhappy with no seats available which I agree with but let's not make out our away facilities are value for money at 25 quid a pop so we can  hardly call out others.

So, it's cheaper for their fans at VP, it's under cover, and it's seated. No comparison really.  Shocking if no seats offered to away fans.

As someone said,  show your feelings by boycotting this one

Everybody gets 500 until more work is done on the ground...

Yep, they started building a stand and thought they could do so without planning permission/consulting the neighbours and work had to stop. As a result it's a reduced capacity as one end of the ground is a building site.

It's not been a great year for Bristol Rovers administrators after this stand embarrassment and then messing up the paperwork for the Jonson Clark-Harris move.

Definitely going, just not decided whether I’m going in the home end or away end yet.

You won't get a ticket in the home end as it's usually full around 9000 crowds. Only empty spaces will be in the away terracing as even if we're still in the top 6 or even top 2 no more than 250 will go there. If there's older fans or less abled vale supporters then there likely now not to go as no seats have been made available to away fans. Only need provide 50 to 100 seats really.

Shouldn’t be too difficult to get home tickets especially as I live near Bristol.

As for the Mem, I think it's a great old football ground that has typically fallen in to disrepair. What spend money on it when for the past 20 years you've wanted to move out...??

The atmosphere in their home end is first class.

Got a lot of time for the Gas, know quite a few of them. Think they are very similar to us.

Live in Worle, just outside Weston. Lived here 10 years, having lived in Newquay beforehand - that was a jaunt to go watch the Vale on a Tuesday night and get back the same day.

Their move from Eastville has been far more traumatic than our straightforward move from Hanley. Only Brighton of the nomads have really prospered.

Agreed Fosse.

Having lived just a couple of hundreds from the Mem for 15 years and knowing all the promises that were made to them by the City Council and then broken, and the way they were screwed over with the Sainsburys deal , they're like us and Stjoke.

There was supposes to be a big stadium being built next to UWE, and now the one at the Fruit Market seems to have fallen over, too.  Yet every development at Ashton Gate has gone through with little or no problems.

Hope they get the new stand finished. That and the WWI Mem gates would be a great place to go to.
