Correct and MK Don's need to win both (Barnsley H and Burton A)

Barnsley can overhaul Ipswich and Sheffield Wednesday for 2nd if those teams falter badly. Unlikely it is true. But it means they will be 100% at it v MK Dons. Plus MK Dons have a good pitch and I think that will allow Barnsley to play fast paced attacking football.

If Oxford lose at home tomorrow we are mathematically safe aren't we ?

Cambridge can get to 49 points and play Accrington on Saturday. But we need to lose heavily and they need to win all three. I think we are 99% safe because others fall into trouble before we do. Also if Morecambe can win at Charlton I think we have a chance to emulate.

If Vale lost their last two games, Oxford, Cambridge and MK Dons have to win all their games and Burton would need a point or a better goal difference. Cambridge also have to overturn a 9 goal deficit.

Almost impossible to be relegated.

As soon as 2 of MK Dons, Cambridge and Cambridge drop a point; or we get a point. Big weeks for Oxford and MK Dons. Both are on poor runs and Morecambe and particularly Cambridge are picking up points. If Accrington lose on Tuesday and Oxford win Cambridge could have an easy last 3 games. Accrington all but relegated and having to win, followed by Burton playing for pride and FGR. So MK Dons may well need to get something against Barnsley on Saturday. On paper Oxford have an easy last 3 games, so I'd expect them to survive. My view is MK Dons will go down with 46 points, despite winning at Burton on the last day. Oxford and Cambridge to both escape.

Burton aren't playing for pride when they kick off at Lincoln tomorrow, like us they technically need a point (but may be irrelevant if other scores go their way).  Should the worst come to the worst and Oxford and Cambridge both win tomorrow/Saturday we could actually do with Burton losing the first 2 of their games so they still need something when they play Cambridge a week on Tuesday. That's also if we get nothing at Charlton.

We're mathmatically safe if Oxford drop points tomorrow as that's 4 sides who can't catch us!

Yes you're right. The slight worry remains all 3 have easy final games ... except MK Dons at home to Barnsley.  One would hope Crosby will keep them focused for Charlton.  It's always better to earn your own right to stay up. Morecambe could also easily win their last 2, so last Saturday was very important.
