Match Thread: Port Vale v Cambridge United

Really disappointing performance today but I'm afraid that they wanted it more than us.Cambridge hadn't won an away match since last October so you just know what would happen as soon as that stat was mentioned.Typical Vale!

And finally, seven home wins in a season isn't  the best way to promote season tickets for season 2023/24.

Never mind,I'm used to it now.

Some really interesting terminology from Clarke. Players reaching the end of the road. Reached their levels .

Could be a humongous cull again.

but dare he do it??????????????????????/

At a guess auto net have pulled out and that means the players won't be getting there bonuses as I believe he as been keeping the club going with paying the wages etc and the shortfall .
I was told that v Derby .
So if we Skint that may be why the players have called it a day, they won't be getting a contract as we cannot afford give them one something along them lines however performances like today would you want give them one .
I do not know the truth but someone does.

Shameful but somethings gone on .
Better come out and tell everyone hadn't they .
Either dispel the rumours or get the players play with more pride .
How a club can go backwards so quickly is unbelievable
While stoke players are finishing the season with pride ours are taking the -iss out of our support with garbage served up like today and v Burton

Absolute nonsense.

I will refrain from calling you something.

you maybe angry and disappointed following that display but to spout that drivel you need to grow up.

Sounds from that as though he’s already told players, they won’t be here next season. From a managerial aspect in any businesses that’s not very motivational. The two players that have been consistent are Smith/Worrall neither signed by him. He talks about it not being the standard he demands and is very confident when saying this, accepting the blame. He’s too comfortable and too arrogant, I’d have more respect for him if he resigned and in the interest of the club didn’t demand his full contract to be settled. I’m not that naive to believe that he would do that. Also we gave him the contract so why should he. The consolation being each week that goes by the compensation clock is ticking. We can’t afford to give them the summer transfer window if we’re to remain in L1 at the end of next season. Yes I’m very frustrated, might calm down sometime next week.

When you look at the games that the bottom five have to play then we may well already be safe, but it is definitely going to be squeaky bum  times. If somehow we manage to scrape three points over Easter then we may breathe a little easier.

Please, please, please DC….Taylor is history, if you insist on hoof ball then Proctor has to start. Why are we playing three holding midfielders, surely someone has to play an attacking No. 10 role. Five at the back, three holding midfielders, but we still concede two goals.
