No I expect you, and all Vale fans, to grow a fu**ing spine.

WE have just been promoted

WE need to grow into EFL1

WE need to do that over 2-3 years

WE need to stop panicking every time we lose, like little girls in the playground

Grow a fu**ing spine

Touched a nerve.

Calm down and cut out the language

Vale played well today against a Bolton team in the top 6 and in good form. If we can play to a similar standard from now on in and keep creating chances then some will be put away and we will stay up. Matty Taylor is a good acquisition and he should make things happen.

My concern is next season, the so called "Second Season Syndrome", we have to have a better 2023 summer transfer window than the last two windows.

We need a massive 2023 summer transfer season

We've done it before.  Out of interest - what is our budget?

Know as much as you but i am realistic and i would expect it to be in bottom half of all teams.

Listening to Flickers and the in the summer we are way off the ' average ' for this division and the numbers he was talking, we will need to increase next season to get better players in

It's unusual for Ian Evatt to have a good word for us - so we must have played well? Some of my "fellow" fans never post on here, unless it's to whinge when we're not doing well. Put a few performances together and we never see them!

I'd normally hope you didn't get promoted as we don't want to miss your revenue...but it looks like you could be replaced by 3 or 4 teams with fans who travel in numbers? ...so, good luck - it's going to be tight at the top and in the playoffs!

Noticed you were quiet after the Accy game. Poor were we....

Best we’ve played in ages - that’s the level we need to be at consistently and since Christmas it’s been the first time we’ve been anywhere near it.

Still a fair bit of sloppiness to cut out and the obligatory cheap goals have cost us yet again but for the first time in a long time it felt like we were in a contest. Properly. 10 of our starting 11 were bang up for it today. Something to build on.

MK and Stanley will be fighting for their lives, Stanley literally, I just hope we are up for a scrap at the smaller clubs.

We made MK Dons look a flowing football team at the away game. They obviously aren't normally. We need to be ready to grind out a 1-0. It would be good if our keeper could manage to save shots outside the box - didn't in the away fixture!

That’s the way I saw it.  Comfortably the better team in this game.  Moments of sloppiness at either end cost us, as it did our previous game.  Elementary mistakes are killing us.

Did you watch the game? If you did you’d know that the shot from outside the box was a snapshot taken first time into the corner. 1998 Schmeichel would have struggled.

Always seems to happen to us though, doesn’t it??

Team scores a screamer that prime Schmeichel / Banks / whoever wouldn’t have near. Somebody closes down the man, he doesn’t get the shot off, simple.

I’d love to know a) how many goals we’ve conceded to shots outside the box and b) what these have cost us points wise.

Are you happy with our CURRENT RUN OF FORM???

Is there anything that isn’t correct in that summary??

If you like, I’ll elaborate…

Basically we have two goalies that don’t save shots; a defence with no height having sold arguably our best centre half; a midfield that doesn’t close down (hence the shocking number of goals we’ve conceded from outside the box) and a forward line that is barely fit.

But, as I say, we’re supposed to believe that we’re stronger post the transfer window.

Who has said we are stronger post transfer window?

Lucky for you , we have also beaten lots of teams above us as well

You said below us.  We normally play very well against teams above us, but still played dross against teams below us.  The first half of the season we played well and looked at one stage of playing in the play off slots.  Then this run came of poor results.

I’ll probably just get behind my team to be honest and not think about the bad performances 6 months ago

Been supporting the Vale for 47 odd years and seen us really bad and looking like we could go out of the league.  That's why you celebrate the matches we win, the cup runs and even those we draw against teams you expect to get beaten by and Vale score an equaliser at the last minute, which makes the travelling all the much better.  Listened to them at all hours around the world.  Supporting the Vale you have to take the ruff with the smooth and every match you hope for a win.  Being a Vale fan becomes important to you and I have met other Vale fans in places you would not expect to meet them around the world.  Also met lardies there as well, but took the piss out of them saying I need to use their shirts to clean my weapon and kit.
