boring story alert…Wednesday away was my last away game on a coach…. It was a Boxing Day and we set off at 10 and got to the ground about 30 mins before kick off… and we didn’t even stop at a pub ! Nightmare we spent our time picking pre arranged strugs up en route.

So did I, the cops sent us through some convoluted route that seemed to go on for miles and then stopped us in lay-bys for around an hour.  No toilet on the coach either from memory.  It was crazy.  Have we played them on a Friday night since then?  I seem to remember driving up for a game and assumed that it was after that Boxing Day game.

We did on Sky TV the season after. I missed the Boxing Day game, went that though, we were awful, 1-0 loss nothing game and had to get last train back to Nottingham to get home at 1am before wizzing down to Heathrow first thing a few hours later to go Toronto! McLean scored a cracker if I recall.

And just 600 to Bristol City for a 3pm kick off a week last Saturday (about 45 minutes further than Sheffield), in a higher division with free travel.

Their allocation was a thousand less than ours and they were saying how wonderful it was that they’d sold them all. Some were probably given as Christmas presents by folk to people they didn’t like!

I don't know. Buying them a ticket to watch Stoke AND making them travel to Rotherham. That's some level of hatred that.
