We had to wear their away kit as there was a minimal amount of white on their home  shirts. I was there and we played well I recall.

I was there too, won easily and did indeed play well, however we stayed with friends in Barnsley that night and went out in the evening.
A guy at the pub got talking and reckoned Vale had bought the ref with them lol.

Would be pleasantly surprised/amazed if we got anything on Tuesday. It's one of those games this season where you earmark a defeat. We need to be bang at it from the start because we seem to be starting games very sloppily at the moment.

We’ve generally had a decent record against Barnsley since the turn of the millennium but will be a tough test.

They’ve been a mixed bag and only have two more points than us, took a walloping at home to Wycombe but then got a decent draw against Ipswich and won at Wednesday.

Winnable but will have to be better than we have been.

At 3-0 someone in front of me started singing "It's just like watching Brazil....."?......cos that's what they sung at some stage? Made me chuckle....and to be fair they laughed and applauded...

I’ll take anything from this one. They haven’t started great but it’s still a very tough game. Point would be great.

If the errors are cut out and we play counter attack football, I think we have a chance. Barnsley are a bigger club than us, but just at the moment they are not pulling up trees.

I would be happy with anything from this game. Not really expecting us to turn up! We seem so inconsistent at the moment but we live in hope we can turn the corner.
