Its all good my friend. All about opinions and views. I do think DC played him on the wrong position but when  you're struggling for forwards what can you do ?

I do think the heat played a massive  factor today also. I can't speak for everyone else but today just hit different. That heat was uncomfortable

Great dialogue guys.

Openness, willingness to listen, try to understand each other and sufficient humility to move on.

👏👏👏👏👏👏

I would have taken a point before kickoff.

Keeper looks good, always liked Ellis glad we have him, Conlon would have been man of the match had he lasted a bit longer, we looked fit on a brutal day. One of the better 0-0s I have seen.

Having a better day than Stoke and Man Utd.

Just wish Conlon had a right foot. He was good but wasted a couple of opportunities because his rights just for standing on

Credit to all the players for putting on an entertaining performance in that heat. Could have been 3 a piece if it wasn't for some excellent goalkeeping at either end, some wastefulness in the box on our part, and an outrageous bit of luck that they weren't awarded a goal when the ball was closer to the back of the net than the goal line!

Spot on, I was exhausted watching in that heat. Credit to every player for their energy today. On the final whistle half the players were laid out looking like they had been shot, 100% effort from every player. Credit Bolton who were a man down but never let up.

ps. The centre half was a walking red card from the off, let his team down today.

Agreed. I wondered what impact it might have on Stoney.

Having a clear aim to build towards reframes the disappointment.

Well… it the end of the warm up I caught the end of an embrace between Steven’s and Stone, which was great to see and a tick in the ‘no d!ckheads’ box. I feel sorry for Stone but you can’t fault Steven’s today.

I haven’t read through this thread since the final whistle yet but Harrison really impressed me. Excellent hold up play, lively, a real nuisance to defenders. If he can keep up that intensity he will score quite a few goals for us.

Garritty was at times outstanding energy wise, his heading in the middle of the park seems to have improved and his energy was superb.

Bolton being down to 10 men for most of the game swung it to us and I feel we should have won but they are a very good team, quick on the counter and a point is still a good result.

Also the new keeper is a step or two up from Stone, his throw out down the left in the second half was buttery smooth.

I thought Harrison is surprisingly good in the air and won quite a few high balls.

Any vale fans catching the tube home please be careful.

Apparently stoke fans are causing aggro back from Yorkshire. But plenty of police about thankfully

Just chuck a Wrights pie on the ground and you'll be just fine.

I still think Walker is our most underrated player. Out for months, comes on in CM, plays some brilliant passes and controlled the game, then moved to the centre of the back 3 and marks a quality striker for the remainder. I mean how many quality cross field balls did he play today? For me, he has to play every week when fit.

Quite a lot of comments over the Stephens signing, when some fans were looking for the mega signings. Yet again, judging by today’s performance, the management have got it right.

I think all fans mentioned he was a good signing, it’s just the loan that’s the issue. He looks a very good keeper though.

Not read any previous posts but Bolton are the entitled. What a bunch of mardarses...like the Swindle of L1.

Fathead idiot manager...sent off.

Clumpy clown of a captain on his 26th warning for elbows .sent off.

Fans calling the ref a racist bigot. This is after their captain was sent off, quite rightly. The number 4 runs to the ref at HT and mardarses about the sending off. Is booked for dissent in the second half, then barges Conlon immediately in front of the ref who could have sent him off.

Big club, big history, big ego ..who will win nowt this season. Hoofing it up to Daddy Long legs won't win games...they'll come unstuck.

But hey, they get huge away followings...Bolton are massive everywhere they go(there's a word missing somewhere..)

Ahh yes, I forgot about the incident with the No 4. Again, as with the No 5 on the corner, remind me again why that wasn’t an immediate 2nd yellow….
