That would be a bit disappointing, 15/1600 down on last year although there’s still time to shift a few more.

They’re holding back until the Hamil seats to go on sale………

I hope I made that up and it’s not actually true. 🙄

Because I'm sad, and desperately trying to avoid doing the work I'm supposed to be up late doing, I checked last year's Season Tickets thread to see how we compare. 25th June we announced we'd sold 3,250, so we're marginally ahead of last year, albeit we need to be as the season starts a week earlier. I think Colin Garlick said last week we're on course for about the same kind of figure as last year, which sounds about right.

I'm not making excuses but surely the only people who aren't renewing season tickets this year as those that can't? Last season was fantastic, going up a league, good feeling around the club.

I just can't see any reason not to renew unless you really can't do so - cost of living or otherwise.

That was before the weekend. I know plenty (including myself) who get theirs this weekend. I'm sure a fair few will be waiting for pay day, after an expensive month watching Vale in May. I'd expect a little bit of a marketing push by the club on season tickets tbh. Maybe extend the deadline a few days to include the kit launch event on Saturday.

Back to signings, I've heard Covolan was about 6th target on the goalkeeping wish list, so not only is there a plan A, B and C, there's D E and F. With the numbers we have under contract there was never going to be a flurry of early activity this season. 3 or 4 quality signings is all we need, squad size wise. Hands seem to be tied on keepers so another midfielder, striker, centre back and wingback is all we need.

Normally I wouldn’t be in favour of extending the early bird deadline, but that’s a great idea to extend it for a couple of days to include the open day weekend, makes a lot of sense.

Going down today to renew mine. Always do it towards the end of the Early bird offer, sure I'm not alone in doing this.

No question a lot of people are holding back due to finance but a lot do wait until the last few days of the deadline.  I also know a few fans who, for whatever reason, buy their ST’s after the early bird has elapsed every year.

wait till pay day,end of month. Also Stockport seem to "Fashionable" in a way like Tranmere were treated a few years back.

Yeah, sometimes when these teams drop into non league it becomes fashionable to follow them again. It's as though the drudgery of flipping between league 1 and league 2 isn't glamorous enough.

Lincoln a prime example. I've been there with 2500 in attendance. They had that brilliant cup run and won the National League and suddenly were getting 9000 and taking 1500 away.
