Fee for Garrity is somewhere around £350k according to source.
Think vale would find it hard to turn down that sort of money for a player who cost us next to nowt. As someone already said midfield is an area of the pitch where we are strong. A fit Conlon chipped in with a similar amount of goals so maybe that's where DC sees Garritys goals being replaced from. Agreed goalscoring midfielders are worth their weight in gold. Or at least £350 k as per Ollyandpatch info.

That's peanuts he is worth a lot more that his professionalism is worth 750k alone .
Hope we get a lot more than that
He will start scoring soon saw some very good signs yesterday that he will be on the end of masseys balls in soon and they will be hitting the onion bag

Not being funny but you would have to accept that as long as a sell on is involved

If this goes through it just shows some more fantastic work from the recruitment team

Feels like all our outgoing transfers have that clause inserted as standard now. Would see if could wangle something extra out of them like an additional sum if he scores X amount of goals for them maybe. But yeah I do agree with you. It seems we are looking to move to a more possession based game as well now we are in a higher league so might make sense from that perspective also.

Interesting point on the Ale & The Vale Pod this morning.

I would far prefer for Stevens to be ours permanently but they make a good point that loaning a keeper is quite normal these days.

Both keepers yesterday were on loan, Trafford is from Man City.

Mansfield and Exeter had loan keepers last year and made the play off final and were promoted respectively.

And I’m sure there will be more examples.

I am telling you that if Vale are kicking towards the Hamil Rd and are in possession of the ball the camera will move and point to the left towards the goal and most of pitch and all the players apart from probably Vale's goalkeeper will be in shot.

What I'm also telling you is I can see clearly the players on the Lorne St side of the pitch and the Railway Stand side of the pitch so I can see every players runs/movement without obstruction unlike if you are sitting in the Lorne or Railway Stands where the rake is lower.

So you must have seen what a good game Garrity had yesterday?
