There may be any number of reasons why a number of players have not yet made their minds up? They could be looking at Schools / housing / shopping centres...golf clubs...and any number of those could be GKs. I'm confident we won't go into the first game with the Doomsday scenario of only having one senior GK...and being short in numbers in other positions. Let Management manage!

He apparently clogged a Dundee United player before scoring. He might be young and needing development physically but we can conclude he got stuck in and scored. Quality of opposition? Dundee United finished 4th in the SPL and qualified for Europe and so they are opposition with credibility. Like Port Vale, they're close to real kick off and want to be getting ready effectively.  I doubt it was a walking football game aside from being moderated by the high temperature.

Just nearly fell off my chair when i saw Boot mentioned. The guy who killed his own Vale career dead with his fake injury at Crewe when he was subbed through pure embarrassment.

I understand he has done well since, but come on jeez. 

I've seen Hornby, Boot, Brisley mentioned so far on this thread. They are ex-players for a reason.

If you look at any of the comments under Solihulls statement about him leaving, most agree that they don't see what Huddersfield B see in him at all

Probably why they're fans and not football scouts who assess players professionally for a living
