If we sign Lloyd then I might think again about next season. Would be worse than the signings over the last few seasons. Don’t want crooks to sign either. He’s done nothing to deserve a contract.

This kind of thread always makes me laugh with names banded around which most fans haven't even seen them play full 90 minutes over a period of time, unless they have played for Vale already!

 

Realism needed with signings. We now have a club which should be well run from the top down to the manager(hopefully he signs soon) which means no overspending on ridiculous signings like Mayor or half a squad of chancers.

Nail on the head! It’s not even the end of May yet and the negativity is seeping back. Let’s just see who the manager is (hopefully soon) and let his get in with assembling a squad before we start panicking.

If we're supposed to be signing 12 players this summer, and 2 of them turn out to be Lloyd and Crookes then it's going to be another long, hard season.

 

This season will be more competitive than ever with Salford, Leyton Orient, Walsall, Scunthorpe, Plymouth and Bradford all joining.

 

I know they're only rumours, but we need to step up this season and I'm hoping better signings would be made.

This is supposed to be a new beginning but seems like we are going down the same old route of signing bench warmers like Ryan Lloyd.

Askey needs to know that we will not accept poor players like we had under Smurthwaite.No jobs for the boys get rid of the sick notes and bench warmers.

We need a small squad of young hungry players capable of improving the team.There will be plenty good signings available as clubs cut the squads.

Will any other league club even consider signing Ryan Lloyd.
