Thought our ticket website was good to be honest. Picked the stand bought 5 together (not many 5s left for where we wanted,) and printed them off. SIMPLES.

Considering their bluster when the draw was announced, how they were so sure they were going to 'easily sell out and have fans in the home end', and how this was a 'massive game for us' and would set us up financially 'for years to come', it'll be fairly embarrassing if they haven't sold out tinpot Port Vale's away end.

On to the game itself................

 

Have watched three FA Cup games and though by the narrowest of margins they went the way of the form book the first two, especially the Harringay match, the result could have easily gone the other way.

 

What struck me was two things, the sheer effort these teams put in, which I am sure we will match today, but also the numbers when attacking, they all pushed forward, something we have to do, but am fearing we wont, if we are to get a positive result.

 

Yes, like all the matches I watched, get numbers back when we don't have the ball, we will certainly need to, but let's not meekly lay back and invite our tummies to be tickled. If we lose as is likely, and least do so knowing we gave it a proper go and not because we froze in the headlights...can't wait though
