It will take Aspo another three, four or even five transfer windows to turn things around.

It should have been resolved this transfer window by using some of the £2.4m the club has generated in transfer fees since January 2017.

A proper club with a proper owner who wants the club to progress would have used at least £400,000 of that to buy 3-5 good young players with potential value to be resold on again at a profit.

After the past two seasons the majority would accept finishing where we are now if we were improving and learning from mistakes, the thing hard to stomach is the abysmal entertainment.

If we can't play decent football through the midfield and down the wings and still finish 15th in league two then Aspin should go because since the second half v Cambridge the fayre on offer has been terrible value for money.

So far Cambridge is the only game where we've been the better team over 90 minutes.

I wouldn’t accept that

Another brilliant following again today to watch a team that hasn’t won away since December 2017. To be honest we don’t deserve this! The football is just boring. Lump it forward, lose possession, get it back then ditto lump it forward again. The fans need to have something to shout about, and again today what did we get, one shot on target in 90 minutes. Brown and Legge aside a shambles again today. Ref didn’t help - clear hand ball penalty near the end but that’s no excuse for the terrible display served up yet again.

Neither would I but reading the comments on here and from Aspin, it appears the majority would.

Do people really think that Aspin would rather sign non league players as opposed to experienced league players if his budget allowed him to do the latter ?

We all think that our budget should be one of the highest in the division, but the thought and the reality are more than likely two vastly different subjects.

Aspin is not beyond criticism of that there is no doubt, but is the owner as commited to the cause as the management ?

At the end of the day, Aspin can only play the hand he has been dealt. In my opinion, his chairman has stacked the cards against him.

Surely Gibbons and Kanu will get a look in now. Aspin strikes me as a guy with an unwavering code of conduct and way things should be done. If they or other players are being punished for disagreeing or whatever then maybe he needs to change his outlook to save his job - otherwise his way of doing things will be his downfall.

Manny has been a big loss and destabilised the team.

We've won two home games, lost three away games, two closely by the odd goal and fans are calling for the manager to be changed. Heavens above if you wish the club to spiral towards non league then keep calling.

This is still a rebuilding excersize after the hatchet job by Smurf and Ribeiro and it will be for another two transfer windows at least.

Weren't you one of the ones saying the exact same nonsense when Michael Brown was failing, that he should be given more time blah blah blah?

I agree 100% and the sickening stomach churning reality is Smurthwaite will say I got the fans favourite in and backed him,...........Yeah right.
