Rob Page suffered in a similar way from certain people at the club and look where that got us.

Obviously there will be a group of players who don't like him, well tough, if they don't want to be here they can get a job somewhere else just like everyone else in the world does. Backstabbing goes on in every organisation. I could understand resent if we'd been doing brilliantly but the team was dire when Aspo came. Lots of players must know they're not wanted and have no future here, it doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to see that. There's still a few playing for their futures though, especially the younger ones, so if we can get to the survival point the squad can be sorted then. Anyone who isn't happy can move on if they like.

The bigger concern for me is does the owner want him here or is he being 'tolerated' as a club legend ?

I said this week's ago I honestly think the players hate playing under him for whatever reason obviously it's his methods they don't respond to it's damaging them all other than maybe Hannant who is full of enthusiasm having been given his chance. I'm surprised none of the unhappy players have spoken out publicly in defence of their own form? Maybe it's credit to them they have stayed tight lipped over Aspin?

It's the players he has lost imo, I reckon they aren't happy with training and tactics and maybe a few may have voiced these concerns direct to the hierarchy? This would explain how every single player has suffered loss of form

Despite his honesty, I can't imagine Aspin would be so tactless that he would openly criticise the people above him, so if it is him hinting at something specific to Vale, I reckon it's directed at either some of the fans now disgruntled with the results since the new year, or some of the players/backroom staff. Either way, I don't really think it would be helpful to the cause, & he would know that, so maybe it is just a general statement.

I believe that most forum members are fed up with reading your constant negative drivel.

You never praise anything good about Port Vale you only write anything that you think is negative.

It would be very nice if you wrote something positive about our fantastic club and brilliant manager.

He's a bedwetting loner and the sooner Aspo gets to the end of this season and cleans out the core of the most dreadful group of player's many have ever seen,the sooner posters like him will disappear.
