Brexit again...

that's the best one yet!!!

On a par with saying plantation owners were thoughtful family men who cared about their slaves and wanted them to have a decent life.

When was the slave trade abolished in the UK and by whom?JRM must have to sneak one in when he’s finished whipping the one in situ.

Where did they write or say that?I heard JRM,of profound knowledge, state that things for the less well off would become less expensive due to vat cuts.Hardly a **** the scum type of statement.Must have been a weak moment during his family dinner, too much vintage port, decanted by his slave/butler.

If VAT is cut, how will the government be able to afford the subsidies to farmers and all the other stuff that the EU coughed up, especially if the money saved from not being a member is going to the NHS?

39 billion would be a reasonable start if a no deal Brexit.Negotiating a deal is obviously the best way forward for the EU and the UK.The point I was making was about JRM.If he is such an uncaring tophat he wouldn’t be making statements such as that.My personal preference would be to raise the subsidies by taxing Stoke fans and ex school teachers.Wouldn’t our fishing benefit from Brexit?

£39 billion is about a third of the annual NHS budget so that won't go far. I would actually raise extra revenue by putting enormous tax rates on the profit of bookies! Scum of the earth, preying on people's weaknesses the lot of them!

Would you include the makers/sellers of alcohol?

It isn't on a par with that though is it?

No opinion from me here by the way before you accuse me of being a neo nazi or alt right or whatever the latest buzz word insult is.

It's sad. You can't have a debate now without these ridiculous comparisons being thrown in by the "sensible" side.

They think they should be although the majority of farmers voted for Brexit!

They're obviously as thick as the stuff the spread on their fields then! They should have signed into OVF and read this thread so that the 2-3 experts on here can tell them what a disaster brexit will be.

The question was if Brexit is so good for the working class why are Rees Mogg and Johnson supporting it?

My answer to that is it isn't which is exactly why Rees Mogg and Johnson support it, they want to be rid of EU social and employment legislation so they can further exploit labour resources, reduce welfare, reduce public spending and reduce direct taxes for the wealthiest.

If only we had some sort of mechanism for holding our MPs to account.

Just because we voted for brexit does not mean we voted to scrap welfare, public spending and employment rights. You do know that when we are out we literally have free reign over what we do as a country?
