Howjy mate you dont need anyone to accuse you of being thick with your recent comments. You've done it yourself!

I apologise for being chronically ill, with no sign of a cure. The help I get is disablement help. The rest is what I worked for -Company Pension,Which was decimated by money grabbing socialists.I get no other help because my wife has job and earns too much.

And the bloke you support wants to reduce that amount you would get or stop it all together. But according to you he is looking out for the best interests of the public? Hypothetically speaking if your wife left you, or you never married, you'd be reliant on welfare wouldn't you? But you support those wanting to take it away.

Do you ever consider people's situations who are less fortunate than yourself given the opportunities you've had in life?

No your clearly not thick are you. But your not helping yourself with the things your saying let's be honest. How did your taxes help? I paid £18,000 undergrad and £4500 postgrad. If it was free, yeah your taxes helped but it's not.

I have and always will look after those who are and have been less fortunate than myself. Not just family.Something I learned from my dad,who was never given a penny in his life other than what he worked for.Help those that help you.Simple philosophy,TVF.I could have given more help but for Socialist scum.

Based on that then how can you support or like JRM? It makes no sense.

I know what your saying and reality that's correct - but i've got to pay it back. Unlike older generations to me. Should I be denied the opportunity to go and get an education because my family didn't have the best part of £30k to allow me to go and get my degrees? Is that what your trying to get at?

I thought after a few day's off you'd done some research, but clearly not

Appreciates how lucky HE is... but at the same time, voted against the following (Many times)..

Consistently voted against raising welfare benefits at least in line with prices

Consistently voted against paying higher benefits over longer periods for those unable to work due to illness or disability (That would of been you suffering under his control)

Consistently voted for making local councils responsible for helping those in financial need afford their council tax and reducing the amount spent on such support

Consistently voted for a reduction in spending on welfare benefits

Consistently voted against spending public money to create guaranteed jobs for young people who have spent a long time unemployed

Almost always voted for increasing the rate of VAT

Almost always voted for higher taxes on alcoholic drinks

Almost always voted for higher taxes on plane tickets

Consistently voted against increasing the tax rate applied to income over £150,000

Almost always voted against a banker’s bonus tax

Consistently voted against an annual tax on the value of expensive homes (popularly known as a mansion tax)

Consistently voted for more restrictive regulation of trade union activity

Voted for raising England’s undergraduate tuition fee cap to £9,000 per year

Consistently voted for ending financial support for some 16-19 year olds in training and further education

Voted constantly for more academy schools

Consistently voted for reducing central government funding of local government

..... think you get the picture. Two minutes to find that out. I find these things out so I don't say such ridiculous things like you did for saying that. He's a proper elitist. Then, after saying such things you'll be blarting with Reagle Beagle because people think your saying daft things

(I really do hope you said it sarcastically and I've not picked it up)

Jean, he's done so well out of the EU he's relocated his investment businesses to Dublin to pay tax to the EU post-brexit (traitor). Advised his clients to do the same.

That my be all factually correct... but it is a little one sided.

What did he propose instead?

Not at all.The majorly of older generation got it for free because only a small percentage of people ever went to University.Single figure percentage I believe.Times have changed,is it about half of school leavers who are in higher education now?You needed to be clever in the olden days to go to University.Ask Jean.

It's based on class, still is. Poorer kids go to less established unis and the rich kids go to the posh places. Really intelligent people get there by merit and rightly so - but those people are a very limited number.

My course started with 18 of us (2 year intensive rather than 3) - at the end there were 6 left. So that £9000/18,000 they spent will probably be never paid back. Joke. So WE will be paying for these people who play at university. At £9,000 per student universities will admit people's dogs. It's not even much about education anymore, it's a way of making loads of money so the likes of vice chancellors can earn hundreds of thousands.

As a young person in the UK today, if you don't go to university what do you do? If your very lucky you get an apprenticeship.. If your even more lucky your family has a business you can go to work in...if not, what do you go and do? Especially around Stoke? It's all low skilled job people don't want. So they go and play at university for a year, fail and become a bigger burden on the economy in the long run.

Off topic from Brexit anyway now.

It's a voting record so doesn't say.

He likes food banks though. Mogg: “rather uplifting” when “people voluntarily … support their fellow citizens”. And in my own experience, Britain is often the “good, compassionate country”

And on that basis, he move's his companies into Dublin so we don't get any of the tax revenue that could go to help people. He's a bare faced liar.

We're you denied the opportunity?

Missing the point. If the attitude of people is "Im paying for your education" because it's largely impossible to pay the tuition fees if you come from a working class background... it's hypocritical when the one's saying it had the opportunity to study for free?
