Brexit again...

£39 billion is about a third of the annual NHS budget so that won't go far. I would actually raise extra revenue by putting enormous tax rates on the profit of bookies! Scum of the earth, preying on people's weaknesses the lot of them!

I agree.I am the retired bookie with a push bike. Those fish and chip shops need sorting out aswell.

It isn't on a par with that though is it?

No opinion from me here by the way before you accuse me of being a neo nazi or alt right or whatever the latest buzz word insult is.

It's sad. You can't have a debate now without these ridiculous comparisons being thrown in by the "sensible" side.

They're obviously as thick as the stuff the spread on their fields then! They should have signed into OVF and read this thread so that the 2-3 experts on here can tell them what a disaster brexit will be.

It's easy to sound like an expert when debating with those who's only opinion on the matter is "out means out" / "we won, you lost"

Another statement of wit & genius. No doubt you and your sidekicks FUA and Regal Beagle are wetting yourselves at that one.

No doubt there'll be some retort accusing remainers of arrogance and intellectual snobbery, a favoured policy of the wonderful Pol Pot. Jean had better watch out or she'll be slaughtered or sent fruit picking in the uneducated post Brexit wonderland!

If only we had some sort of mechanism for holding our MPs to account.

Just because we voted for brexit does not mean we voted to scrap welfare, public spending and employment rights. You do know that when we are out we literally have free reign over what we do as a country?

So you think the hard right want a Brexit with centrist or centre left policies of taxation, public spending, reasonable welfare (biggest spend is pensions) and decent employment laws?

Of course we could have those things post Brexit but that would entail election of a centrist or left wing government, something that would abhore you going by your previous posts, or have you seen some light and changed your mind?

Because he’s a kind and thoughtful family man who appreciates how lucky he is and cares about how people get on in life.

I thought after a few day's off you'd done some research, but clearly not

Appreciates how lucky HE is... but at the same time, voted against the following (Many times)..

Consistently voted against raising welfare benefits at least in line with prices

Consistently voted against paying higher benefits over longer periods for those unable to work due to illness or disability (That would of been you suffering under his control)

Consistently voted for making local councils responsible for helping those in financial need afford their council tax and reducing the amount spent on such support

Consistently voted for a reduction in spending on welfare benefits

Consistently voted against spending public money to create guaranteed jobs for young people who have spent a long time unemployed

Almost always voted for increasing the rate of VAT

Almost always voted for higher taxes on alcoholic drinks

Almost always voted for higher taxes on plane tickets

Consistently voted against increasing the tax rate applied to income over £150,000

Almost always voted against a banker’s bonus tax

Consistently voted against an annual tax on the value of expensive homes (popularly known as a mansion tax)

Consistently voted for more restrictive regulation of trade union activity

Voted for raising England’s undergraduate tuition fee cap to £9,000 per year

Consistently voted for ending financial support for some 16-19 year olds in training and further education

Voted constantly for more academy schools

Consistently voted for reducing central government funding of local government

..... think you get the picture. Two minutes to find that out. I find these things out so I don't say such ridiculous things like you did for saying that. He's a proper elitist. Then, after saying such things you'll be blarting with Reagle Beagle because people think your saying daft things

(I really do hope you said it sarcastically and I've not picked it up)

Jean, he's done so well out of the EU he's relocated his investment businesses to Dublin to pay tax to the EU post-brexit (traitor). Advised his clients to do the same.

There was a poll bigger than that though, it had 17m+ voting to leave. Can't find a link sorry.

I'll give you that one actually

Come on now mate, what good will Brexit bring? 6 months away and we're getting no reassurances from anyone things will be as good as we've enjoyed inside.

Didn't the Govt compare the Monarch airline collapse with Brexit - saying how great a job we did getting everyone home? We're comparing Brexit with getting through a disaster for people...!!!

I get it,you think benefits should come before working for a living.i’m not sure why you are against making money.Do you and SOTT give the money, you earn ,away.Arent you off to pastures new?Stop here and help the taxman. You slated me for taking money from the vulnerable.Increasing tax on booze doesn’t help alcoholics?I have friends in further education, they laugh when they are questioned about coping with all that debt.
