Do you want Stoke to stay in the Premier league ?

I'm happy to see Stoke finish 17th every year tbh. It does give the city itself a boost in income and profile etc, plus it is more interesting to see Stoke on MOTD than Norwich or Villa or whoever. If we could get to the Championship it would be great to see regular derbies again, but we have to get our house in order first. Cannot see Stoke going into League One, and if they did then bet365 money would soon see them promoted again.

Everybody is entitled to their opinion but the highlighted bit is utter rubbish!

Coates is such a socialist, he doesn't allow unions at Bet 365, Knypersley cricket club are struggling to such an extent that they can't afford to employ a professional next season, so I can see the impact it will have on them, but as Stoke like to remind everyone, they win the second division title every thirty years, the next being due in 2023, so a couple of relegations should be on the cards to keep this record up.

Whos says Knyp cant afford a pro? They only lost their current one as he had been with them for years, 6 or 7 I think.

If Stoke do get flores (ex Watford manager) then I fear that is a pretty decent appointment. Unfortunately.

Looking at his record it's pretty good but he don't stay anywhere very long, but moving clubs these days can make a man very rich.

Apparently,Sjoke will offer Flores a big transfer kitty and a two and a half year £60,000-a-week contract worth £7.5m.They are also prepared to pay for a £4m get-out clause in his Espanyol contract.

If he keeps them up he will also receive a survival bonus.

I'm not intelligent enough to suggest some better alternatives and I know Flores has experience here at Watford. But I'd be careful in appointing a foreign manager at this stage as foreign players can take some time to adjust to the English game. Stoke need a few fighters in their team [in the mould of Denis Smith] who will roll up their sleeves and chase everything. I'm not 100% sold on Flores but the salary is eye-watering!

Has Flores really achieved anything in his managerial career to warrant an appointment to a job reputedly paying millions of quid a year, same with Carvahal at Swansea. When he was appointed at the Swansea Sheff Wed were in the bottom half/third of the Championship if I'm not mistaken.

There's a pretty good chance Stoke will end up in the Championship if they appoint Flores, a better chance than if Hughes had stayed.
