Barcelona or North West England.....mmmmmmm

Easy job at Espanyol or relegation fight at Britannia.....mmmmmm

Easy decision to my mind.

Better chance of survival with O'Neil and Keane IMHO.

I live in North West England. Stoke is in the West Midlands.

Espanyol is a bigger club than Stoke City in a better league. Why step down?

I don't see what the problem is. Surely these wonderful wonderful Stoke fans haven't jumped on the bandwagon just because they're in the Premier League? If they were in the Championship I bet they would still get 30-odd thousand through the turnstiles every week, right?.... I went to watch Newcastle in the Championship last season and it was a full house. So I bet the Bet365 stadium will still be packed to the rafters for the visit of teams like Barnsley and Fulham.

And its hardly like Stoke is a city where away fans will come and spend the weekend like London, Brighton, Bournemouth etc, so even now away fans will be in and out on a match day, and hotels won't lose business. And Premier League fans aren't suddenly more wealthy than Championship fans, so the money they spend while they are here won't change.

Have a think about why I made that comment, however, your knowledge of the geography of England cannot be faulted.

Another reason for staying put.

SCFC are a scummy little football club who have been invited to the party but are nowhere near the top table. Those associated with the club have an arrogant attitude and think they are something they are not. No-one likes them. They are boring to watch. The owners are exploiting the fans, raking in the money and investing very little in the team while lining their own deep pockets.

It is estimated that over 2,000 jobs depend directly on Stoke City being in the Premier League. In world terms being in Premier League means Stoke is well known as a city. Without it Stoke is nowhereville.

If what you say is true surely Coates and Stoke fans are wishing us to be in the Premiership too.
