My guess about the manager situation is that Smurf hasn't got a clue what to do.Or he is TRYING to play clever games.(Although not good enough to do so)But it is backfiring the staff at the club, players and the fans at the club don't have a clue what is going on at all.This is why people are impatient and losing more and more trust and faith in Smurf.The club is in a right mess but he plays about on Twitter etc telling non season ticket holders get your tickets for the Grimsby game etc.He really need to make an OFFICIAL statement on the OFFICIAL CLUB WEB SITE about what is going on this needs to be done early this week.

That's exactly why I'd say Aspo as the best man. He seems to have got a buzz going again, the buzz that has been missing for the past few months (the past few seasons to be fair). If nothing else, he'd get the fans passionate again which in turn would get the players fired up. Make no mistake, we're in a relegation battle and we need to be aiming for avoiding the drop, not the playoffs this season. That means that we need to winning as many of our home games a possible, turning Vale Park into a fortress. Who would best get the fans up and singing and interested again? Aspin.

One more thing...to give you an idea how bad we were I saw the Stevenage FA cup tie last year with Paterson and Cecilia.

 

That was a classic performance compared to today.

 

Agreed, I'd take Reg in a heart beat over crap past it players like Kay, Wilson, Tonge, Barnett and Pope, at least he was entertaining, these guys are painful.
