Big risk. Has done both well and awful in his management career. However, he must have brilliant contacts and surely would know how to sort our No.1 problem area, midfield.

Saw the game, I really wish I could have missed it. Awful. Kay needs to never play again. Lawrie Wilson...how did he ever play for Bolton. Stevenage cheered him for his previous service and added to it based on his efforts for us.

 

Pope and Barnett are both donkeys. Pope should do the decent thing and announce his immediate retirement.

 

One bright spot was Marcus Harness looked good when he came on. De Freitas was ok and Worrall was perhaps the best individual player on the pitch.

 

Stevenage are an awful football team and that was one of the worst games of football I have ever seen.

 

We were worse however.

 

The only good bit was getting to heckle Smurfwaite.

One more thing...to give you an idea how bad we were I saw the Stevenage FA cup tie last year with Paterson and Cecilia.

 

That was a classic performance compared to today.

If Ince is favourite - and so presumably one of the three with neither Aspin nor Askey in the running - I seriously dread to think who the other two could be. I'm really worried that Ravanelli could be one of them.

My guess about the manager situation is that Smurf hasn't got a clue what to do.Or he is TRYING to play clever games.(Although not good enough to do so)But it is backfiring the staff at the club, players and the fans at the club don't have a clue what is going on at all.This is why people are impatient and losing more and more trust and faith in Smurf.The club is in a right mess but he plays about on Twitter etc telling non season ticket holders get your tickets for the Grimsby game etc.He really need to make an OFFICIAL statement on the OFFICIAL CLUB WEB SITE about what is going on this needs to be done early this week.
