We are a bit short of wingers to be fair......

 

He's also played centre forward and as a number 10. Surprised he's still not found a club, Leicester offered big money to sign him not too long ago.

According to Wiki not played in the league since Jan 2016 injured at Gillingham (Whiplash) Not always up to date. Other sources?

It says he got whiplash from that game but I think you're assuming that was the end of his season. He did continue to play for Doncaster after that before he was released by parent club Ipswich in August 2016. Not found a club since.

Thanks, good to hear he played on, but it is quite a gap, however at about 26 worth looking at.

My worry would be the fact that he has had a lot of clubs. He isn't injury prone is he? We really can't cope with another lad who misses weeks on end. And you do wonder why he hasn't found another club yet.

 

If only Thomas had been fit enough to play 40 games last year, we would have survived.

 

Personally, I'd try very very hard to entice Eagles back here if (surprisingly) he hasn't got a club yet. He'd make a huge difference to our midfield.
