Beat this....sat next to Dev from Corrie on the train back from Manchester a couple of weeks back, who was enjoying a large bottle of Peroni!

You just reminded me I met Kenny Everett and Cleo Rocos on a train also from Manchester. We exchanged knowing looks

Not... to me-to you... perhaps?

Phil is of course Wayne Walkers cousin. I know Wayne.

 

I have known Wayne for 30 odd years, our comany is in the middle of a project putting a/c in his shop at trubshawe. Really good guy is Wayne as is Ian his side kick. I have played darts against Phil Taylor who is also a top bloke.

 

I have played football against Robbie Earle who ripped my big toe nail off. Still suffer with it to this day but it was worth it to play against my hero.

John L Gardner - British Heavyweight boxing champ late 70's in London.

 

Brad Faxon - Logan Airport, asked me where BA business class check in was, he was on his way to The Open to play, so was I to watch.

 

Ritchie Benaud - At The Open, he was spectating and came and happened to stand next to us and we got talking to him.

 

Phil Mickleson - Sitting behind one of the par 3's at the Open, he'd hit his ball in the long stuff just in front of us, he rolled up and asked if we'd seen his ball, he then stuck it to 6" and tapped in for par.
