I have to say that every single one was nice. They were all polite and friendly and not at all up themselves. The most powerful meeting for me was Ian Wright. He was in a situation that was quite emotional for him. He was such a gentleman, and we had a little chat about his partnership with Mark Bright at Palace, I made a point of letting Ian know that I was a Port Vale fan. He told me that Brighty always had nice things to say about the Vale and had happy memories from his time with us.

Depends what 'met' means - I'll not count asking for an autograph, or just shjaking hands and no conversation at a large gathering except Nelson Mandela as that was special but very brief

Phil, Joanne and Susan DARED to meet me several times, after all 'I'm only Human'

ABC, Cabaret Voltaire, Heaven 17, Pulp (JC) and a few other musicians - all because to musical related studio employment, mostly more recently than when they were at their peak

I don't count football people as famous really, so will only mention John Rudge

A few politicians of whom Roy Hattersley was the nicest person

The real Bea Smith and some other PCBH stars

do The Chuckle Brothers count as famous ?

Not... to me-to you... perhaps?

Rotherham's finest... good clean family entertainment and 36 different TV shows to brag about - where have you been hiding to miss such spectacular stars ?

or if you can stand it - watch for the Rotherham United scarves etc
