We've only just got out of the second week of May, so why shouldn't we be arranging friendlies which are over 2 months away?

Don't see an issue with this, the more that can be sorted out sooner, the better. We're going to have a team by the time they come around anyway, so if we can't get many players signed up yet, may as well at least get the rest organised. Shows we are actually doing something too.

 

It's good news to me, not a bad fixture at all. A decent test, & I don't believe non-league teams help preparation much (aside from the initial warm up), so we need to be up against a few good teams to show how well the players can cope. No point just having us against the usual Newc/Kidsgrove etc, the more of these the better.
