I think he is doing a fantastic job in difficult circumstances and is learning fast. I would like him to be permanent manager.

I'm not sure of the answer, but it's clear Brown has the players playing for him. Yes, he's a rookie in terms of management, but considering the hand he's been dealt (I know the results haven't been great so far), I feel inclined to give him a chance.

Even though the results have really gone for us, the performances have far improved, I see no reason that he should carry on as manager next season, whichever league we are in...

I don't see that Brown is particularly better than Page was. Don't want to have a downer on Brown, particularly after today's result, but I think we should have been doing better since he took over and I also think we could get better. Will Brown give us the scintillating football that many on here demand?

The football has been much improved under Brown and considering the squad he inherited and bad luck with injuries and suspensions, we would be daft to not re-engage him as manager next season.

When you see the list of managers in line after a sacking at this level it hardly inspires you and Rudgey did get relegated in his 1st season.

Too early to judge imho, even if we went down, I'll be saving my judgement for how he handles pre season transfers and the first few matches of next season.

 

I can't really judge the man on this dead duck of a season considering everything that's gone on.

Yes what would have happened to us if we had sacked Rudgie after taking us down. I think considering the loss of players in the transfer window and the horrendous injuries coupled with some poor Bruno signings then Browny has done a decent job. He has got them all working and has had to improve the fitness of several players. What more could he have done in the circumstances.

With the turmoil the club is currently in I would find it very unlikely that we could get a tried and tested manager in to replace Brown, so imo he's done a good job so far with the shower he was left and with a good transfer window he might just be the one to bring some self respect back to the club
