USA Consortium (Or somebody else?)

Recommended Posts

An American consortium are only likely to invest in the club if they can see a significant return on that investment. That can come by growing the club, climbing the divisions and reaching the Premier League - a very big ask or it can come from asset stripping. To be fair asset stripping might mean moving from a valuable piece of land to a less valuable one with a new stadium that results in win win. One thing is clear, Port Vale, in its present situation cannot make significant profit or deliver significant growth in asset value. So there has to be a plan?

I am impressed that you can remember so well what was in fact a tongue in cheek remark and not the truth. I was just trying to wind you up and I obviously succeeded beyond my wildest dreams....

Commonly known as back peddling once caught out.

Would have to be a very cunning plan, the only asset I can see is a large field of clay based turf, which has been carefully nurtured against the weather. Whether it`s scarcity value has been overlooked I do not know:) But always hopeful that something beneficial is around the corner or across the pond.

I dare say that Synetics solutions will take over the club.

Norman loves them.

Then he can keep the ground and the commercial side.

Make no mistake, we are going to be seeing Norman for a long time to come.

Masterplan almost complete.

I have said this to people for a while now, that is his ideal scenario and then he goes on the radio to say he wants to sell to a local business who knows about Vale in an ideal world.I actually doubt there is any more interest apart from them and the rest is a smokescreen,it actually worries me that we are going end up with another Bratt dreamer.

Smurf if there are a couple of serious interested parties then let THEM tell the fans what their plans would be for the club
