Tipical, I'm up Stoke this weekend but should get back in time to get to the match. Not been Exeter since the year we lost to West Brom in the play offs, we also beat them in the LDV trophy final at their place a few weeks before.

Would be making a few changes for this one, Purkiss has to play for Yates, would look to be dropping O'Connor who has not found last seasons form yet. The best football we have played so far was when we had Foley and Grant together in the middle.

It's the biggest and most important game ever ,win we get in that hat and who knows hey ,excitement ,dread ,,elation if we get a good tie get Vale rocking again .

It's been to long but Exeter r a smashing side the Nicholls brothers prominent, it's going be anything but easy but hopefully we play at our maximum then hopefully that should be enough.

The team I'd pick is as follows

Purkiss Streete Duffy Mcgivern

Moore Foley Grant Birchall

AJ Uche

Left wing is a problem position there's no one who has apart from Andoh who's played that position well.

So maybe Birchall can cut in and smash a few in from there .

Doddsy isn't doing it away at present think we should c if uche can play with AJ I reckon he could and very well .

Anyway over to the eleven selected to make sure we go into Jan with a financial godsend to a club our size but as long as we remember the prize is just as great for Exeter who will want the same .

Hope theres a decent crowd for this from both sides. If we take 400ish that wouldnt be bad as its a long journey but the more that go the better for both clubs as the money from the gate is split between both clubs.

That was a great night. I couldn't get Big Ed out of the ground - he just stood there for ages with a daft grin on his face!!

Yeah remember that night well, standing in Exeters streets just singing my head off as the coaches went past. Our first trip to Wembly secured - great feeling. Work the next morning wasn't so good though!!

Sounds reasonable, but not sure Moore should start. Keep Bichy on the right and another on the left.

We spent that night Jacko with the players in Torquay. Got the programme signed by all including Sir John, an hour after the game. Walked into the hotel and the receptionist said that the team were booked in later . Now that really was a great night.

Whereas some of us had to drive home and be at work the next day because we had proper jobs!

Stayed over for Plymouth. Couldn't afford 2 trips down in the week !
