Spoke to my mate today who is an Exeter fan and he said they are really struggling it seems with injuries to key players

 

A little caution though, we have been caught out with that one before. It also depends how good their fringe/squad/reserve players are - note that already this season Blackpool 'reserves' won at Vale Park in the JPT but we beat their 'fiirst' team in the league.

 

Mind games are not uncommon before an important game.

 

I will be quite happy with a draw, though of course a win would be much better.

If the pitch is like the photo the way to beat a League 2 team is to impose League 1 skill and professionalism on them. By that I mean tight at the back, press them hard, play at a high tempo they can't match and clinical finishing. Also keep 11 players on the pitch!

I think their best players are Alex Nicholls and Tom Nichols....Oyeleke hasn't played many games for them,Butterfield is experienced so they should miss him as is Oakley

The best way to beat ANY team is to score one more goal than them and when you are 1-0 up don't put faith in a Vale Defensive Strategy.
