Does anyone know whether Uche is suspended for just one game or two. I thought his first yellow at Burton was his 5th of the season meaning a one game ban but then his red card would give a further one game. As it is the FA Cup next up, he may not have permission by Watford to play, but we all know that our club secretary has had problems in the past (Joe Davis) understanding the rules when cup competitions come along. I would hate to see us kicked out for fielding a suspended player. I've not seen any mention of a two game ban, has anyone else?

He's already Cup tied to us. Lol. Played in every Cup Games for us up to yet. He's now back to 4 bookings with getting a red last week.

He's only cup tied for the Capital One Cup and the JPT. We still need Watford's permission to play him in the FA Cup.

Believe it's a one game ban and he stays on four yellows so another booking and he's banned again!

 

Yep still on 4 cautions.

 

I wouldn't play him next week or at best I'd have him on the bench as we desperately need him back for our league campaign. Hooper has a good record against Maidenhead so let him boost his confidence with a few more goals.

Personally I'd start with Hooper in the cup because our opposition are of the level he's played at, he needs game time, it will help him get used to our team style and it's a lesser risk to start him because if he flops he can be subbed whereas if he comes on as sub and flops we're stuck unless we have a 'spare' sub.

The question is does he start alongside Uche or in place of?

I would try AJLS and Hooper for this one

I don't know why Page didn't give Hooper 20 minutes yesterday to give him some game time. He'll never have a better opportunity to do so, Shrewsbury was absolutely awful. As for next week get Uche and Hooper on and drop AJLS and Dodds for me.

More important to ensure a win, a match is never done and dusted at 2-0. Plenty of time for Hooper to play, and if we should be well ahead in the cup tie that might be the best match to ease him in.
