People talk about our coaching staff being defenders and being unable to sort the defence out, well the forwards aren't faring much better either. Look at Williamson for a start, Campion hasn't had a look in, Marshall who has been the best, still suffers from poor decision making at times, unlike JMW he can actually cross a ball but tries unrealistic shots instead. Pope is certainly not flourishing under Page.

Is there anything that this management team are good at?

I take it Rob Page takes all the blame for six defeats but gets no credit for the 3 successive away wins?

 

3 good wins but look at the sides.

 

Walsall seem as bad as us and can't score a goal, there fans have a similar view of smith as most us do on page.

County, another side that fell down the league, we didn't play well there, they were awful and their manager has since been sacked.

Coventry, a good win but they've only just managed to get their first home win under Mobray, so maybe not as impressive as first thought. Although I will give him credit here as we did play well and looked dangerous going forward.

Lack of ambition like that will not sell STs.

I repeat , if Page stays the club will not sell enough STs to provide any sort of reasonable budget because the fanbase is divided.

I think we should all remember that Page inherited a second hand car, with dodgy parts and poor mechanics, and to expect him to turn it into a Ferrari half way through the season, with problems mounting and little money, is impossible.

That isn't the point though. Look at how the gates have fallen, that isn't going to translate into ST sales and from there to the budget, which is a dangerous downward spiral. Successful business leaders recognise the signs and act in plenty of time not react once things have gone **** up.

Well if he's the chief mechanic he shouldn't replace the best part of the engine with a sub standard piece and then suggest the main part is about to combust as Ferrari will come in for it as it will doubtless feel unwanted ;)
