I'm happy hes gone for reasons I posted on another thread. I will always appreciate the work he did to get Vale promoted. As for him being forced out? I can honestly say I didn't hear any chants of #Adamsout etc on Tuesday? Some people on twitter and here are making it out that Adams was bullied out of his job, hes old and ugly enough to take negative feedback on the chin.

Its a pity he didn`t go at the end of last season. His retained list contained a few surprises (Dodds, Birchall and Neal To name but three) and his team selections this season have made little sense to me. Tuesday night looked like a resignation letter, as we handed them the game from the off with our wingless ****ers. We have some talented players in the squad, but none of them are in defence and they were all his signings. It could be a good job for someone as we are capable of better than we have seen lately. Good luck Micky you did largely ok.

Sound comments. My concern is despite who is manager we have a poorly run club. That is not a gO at Norm, it's a fact think we need a manager and a experienced CEO. But do we have the money.

He hasn`t done well with the budget he had, probably deserved a little longer but the last few games have been poor.

I think he deserves a lot of credit for what he has achieved with the club. Yes, he made mistakes, but he was usually honest enough to hold his hands up and admit to them.

His achievements will be a hard act to follow, and I hope the club, ie Norman, will take some time to make the right appointment. No harm in Page having half a dozen games to see what he can offer.

End of an era, folks. UTV!

Surprised he walked but not disappointed. Gave some great memories during the promotion campaign but the league finish last year flattered us and papered over cracks in both the squad and the management that are now being horribly exposed.

Time will tell whether he'll be tough to follow. Personally I'd like to see someone try to get us playing a far better brand of football and try to sort out the dogs dinner that the defence has turned into.

Cheers Micky and good luck for the future......Smurf contact Rudgie for advice about appointing a New Manager.......Please. With respect a CLEAN sweep at on the Management side of things.

I agree for once lets get a new man in and allow him to bring his own team in with him, smurf does think very highly of Page so I wont be surprised if he gets it until the end of the season.

I enjoyed listening to that and I'm pleased he has gone before the fans got on his back as we appreciate the job he has done here. They are words spoken from the heart aren't they?

And he's left without saddling us with a huge compensation package which is also a good thing. Not many would have done that.
