Also those blaming fans,i think fans have been good to him yes on here we have moaned but its a message board,at the game Tuesday I thought if we lost we would start hearing Adams out chants yet I didn't hear any only boo's,i have backed him a lot but was getting to the end of my tether.I do wish him all the best in the future and if he comes back with a team I will stand and applaud him

A sad day. There are not many managers that could have put a promotion team together immediately after administration and then overachieve in the following season.

 

The first rough patch and the knives are out, as a bunch of supporters I really do wonder how supportive we are.

 

I m sure Micky Adams will go on to get a decent enough job after the success he's brought to vale on limited resources. We need to appoint the right man who will keep us in this league, question is would that be good enough for the fans?

He also took Leicester into the top tier whilst in Admin (No points deduction at the time), but still difficult. Perhaps at his best with limited finances/players?

Can't blame the fans for this.... He resigned before the Crowd turned on him. I'm sure there will be a few fans on OVF that will blame the others on OVF for the resignation....

 

I'm happy he has gone BUT worried about who will replace him, probably a cheap option like Page....

If Adams hasn't been paid off due to resigning surely the money that would have been used to sack him would come in handy for a manager who isn't connected with the club. Will also be interesting to see what happens to Grew as its his testimonial year..
