I have refrained from offering an opinion on whether I think we should give Adams more time, but to be honest after today I am more inclined to say I am not going to lose any sleep if he gets the bullet

 

What concerned me today was there was no passion from the start, for a derby game, there was no change in tactics, this despite the fact we know Crewe don't like being bullied - brown, Jennings ? And no change in style, and to top it off he takes off slew who was the most committed player on the pitch and was causing at least a few problems.

The lack of any tactical plan is astonishing. It seems all he has is 'get in their faces'. And we can't even do that.

Adams is hard enough to like when we are winning, but he is just a ****ing dinosaur. When our plan was revealed as dodds and williamson, in place of our most dangerous player, then i may as well have stopped following the game. Lost count at how many times i heard 'played it long'. 'over the top', and 'whipped in'. Only positive is that i won't be wasting £25 on tuesday, or any time in the future.

Absolutely spot-on. Only have to look at the goals conceded column, both last season and now, so far this season. For the umpteenth time, Mickey Adams get a grip on the defensive situation or make way for someone who can coach defending!!

 

For years under Adams we have had a succession of appalling to mediocre centre backs and nothing, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING has been done about it.

Even the big gormless ****ers like McDonald and Robertson don't attack the ball or win defensive headers (even Shuker won more defensive headers than McDonald). Times up, **** off.

That was as poor as i've seen in a long time, devoid of ideas, it is early yet but the writing is already on the wall unless we improve. Wish i'd stayed in Bar 7.

Disgraceful performance. Yates and Lines were a joke and should have been taken off at half-time. Did McGivern actually win a challenge against Haber? God only knows how we are going to handle JET on Tuesday night.

If Robertson is injured fair enough, but if not, he should have started today just to mark Haber.
