Excuse me folks, can we have less forum attacks please. I personally think its a good thing to have two forums where different groups, different people meet and different opinions can be exchanged.

 

We're all Port Vale fans aren't we? Why don't we just use the forum we prefer (or both if you like) without having a pop at the other one.

 

I personally think online Vale life would be much the poorer if we were to have only the "one side" and not the choice of both PVO and OVF.

 

So, please - no more pops at people who use PVO or indeed people who use OVF.

Splitting the ground really hacks me off. Anybody else who suggested it got destroyed by the fans. Yet Big Norm comes in, does it and everyone just falls in line...

 

There are ZERO footballing reasons to doing this. No good has ever come of situations like this, especially when the person owning it has a moon sized ego. This puts Port Vale on a ticking time bomb and only protects Normans investment from ****** off creditors... It threatens the existance of the club long term.

Wasn't there a legal covenant drawn up by S-o-T council with the new owners of PVFC stating that the land/ground/facilities could only be used for football and that PVFC owns the land/ground/facilities. Anyone know the details of the covenant, can anyone confirm that the ground has been split from the club.

The football club is PVFC Ltd. The ground is owned by Alchemy Land Ltd. The football club currently has a 25 year lease on the ground. When I asked the poster on PVO what would happen if the club was sold and not the ground, would the terms of the lease change, he told me that the club would then have to rent the ground at £150k per year. I don't know who the bloke is who is posting on there but I have my suspicions, so I don't know whether this information is accurate or not.

Rob,I don't see a problem with folk having a go at tother side,they even had a thread called THE DARK SIDE a while back dedicated to slaging off OVF,it's only banter after all,I to use PVO,am not their favourite poster but Ay Ho, that's life,GAZ is their messier and as long as you respect that your ok on there :)
