Ridiculous appointment anyway just because the chairman is a Liverpool fan.

 

From what I've heard Steve Morgan is a bit of a plonker, the company I used to work for had some business dealings with one of his companies(I worked for a construction company and he owned Redrow Homes I think it was). From some of the people I worked with who were in meetings with him he came over as a bit of an **** and that's in an industry he made money at. I'm not surprised he's not been success at running a football club so far!

Shame really as I felt that with Saunders still in charge the Wolves would have definitely struggled next season as I do not rate him at all. If they attract a "big name" it might give them a bit of momentum their lack of confidence obviously needs.

Yes and a connection to Vale. He has worked wonders at Walsall and the same with youth development. If Adams went we would probably be looking for someone in that mold I should imagine.

Wolves have said that Dean Saunders' successor will have the job title of 'head coach'.

 

The academy manager, Kevin Thelwell, has been promoted to 'Head of Football Development' and he will be responsible for recruiting the new manager but also the playing staff.

 

I imagine this would put a lot of old-school managers off applying.
