Again I'll ask why didn't McDonald need teaching a lesson? Why didn't Roberts need teaching a lesson - 5 bookings by the second week of September for "tackling" yet walks straight back into the team? Taken off at Dartford when he should have been sent off for a ludicrous challenge and walks straight back into the team?

 

We ask for consistency in referees - should we see it in managers as well??

Oh, he was warming up with the rest before the game... just assumed that meant he was on the bench.

I don't think Adams is faultless but I'm happy to trust him on this one - apart from discipline Morsy has been having a decent season but not spectacular enough to merit all this attention when he's out.

Against Bradford on Tuesday Adams may fill the suspended Duffy's place at r/back and Loft return to l/back with Davies filling the place of the suspended McDonald which leaves an extra two places on the substitute bench.

Morsey must surely be at least on the bench.

I think that Adams probably has sufficient experience as a manager now to know what is best for the team. I can't believe he would leave Sam out as a "punishment" yesterday, as i am sure he wanted to win against the team that sacked him as a manager.

You really can't compare refereeing decisions with managers decisions. Micky Adams is the manager of PVFC. He decides who plays and who doesn't judged by any number of factors, many of which we will have no knowledge of. The manager will either stand or fall by those decisions - end of.

I think we have the luxury of strength in depth now that maybe we didn't have. I'd expect from Tues Sam will be back in and around the team.

I agree with Jacko. Vale were crying out for Morsy in the second half yesterday. His non inclusion even in the squad smacks of double standards. It could be that Adams simply does not like young players. In which case there may be tensions ahead if our new owners go ahead with there vision of an academy.
