Any thing up to £Billion to refurbish, and playing elsewhere for 1 or 2 seasons. New ground near by more than a £Billion?

There has been talk of them moving to a site at Earls Court but the fans don’t want to leave the Bridge.

Haven’t listened to the full interview but “the Valiant’ newsletter quotes him as saying ‘But I thought we were brilliant the way we worked at times.’

I guess if you only heard the first part you’d get the impression BG was suffering from memory loss for our overall performance but then again I’m also struggling to recall the actual nanoseconds to which Ben was referring.

I think he must be on about Walters dribbling past a couple of there players in the first half before he was fouled and George halls run and blocked shot in the second half apart from that it was a non event 🤔😬🫣

Not someone who you’d take home to meet your mum,DBM?😂

No, I'd prefer someone with better bladder control.

Nah, Magliore, Gray, Hernandez, Sherif, Archer all just as underwhelming and are Brady choices.

I think 'choices' is a stretch.  Given our position in January, we were only going to attract the desperate, the has beens, the dregs and the clinically insane.

Assume Amos will be out of contract and Gauci on loan.

Personally I’d give Davies and Marko half the games each now and see what they can offer.

After Leyton Orient at home I don't want to see Marosi in the Vale goal ever again. Just get rid.

At least we beat them 8-1 on kickoffs.

Actually my MOM choices (term used loosely) were between Ojo and Gabriel. Both looked very good. Ojo to his credit played very well in my view, the only guy who looked composed and passed the ball well. We may have given him a rough judgment over the years, but as a core footballer with the ball at his feet, he showed he is probably our best.

You can add Grant Ward to that. What a bizarre signing

I think the fans are overwhelming in favour of binning off anyone who isn't wanted for next season now.

Some extremely poor performances all over the pitch this season and some of these players will be lucky to get another contract.

I really don't see any argument against Shorrock and Davies now

Problem is getting a decent one. Most would sooner be fifth choice at Man. City or even third choice at Stoke than first at the Vale. Most of the decent ones I have seen this season are on loan from big clubs, with the odd exception.

Everything we did from the day we sacked D Moore was done to reduce costs. Players were sold or sent out on loan and their replacements were cheap. I think Gray and Hernandez were real panic buys to try and find goals or to keep the fans happy and show they were trying to find goals. Trouble is you have to be fit enough to play first !!!!!!!!!!!

I still remember it as bad even in today's light of day.
TBH I'm now worrying about the man in charge. Speaks a good game and probably what the fans want to hear but is he the man for us. He keeps talking about building a team that will compete forever but will they. If he believes that what did he say at half time yesterday. At least first half we tried to put pressure on them 2nd half it was nowhere to be seen.
Unfortunately I can't help but think next year he'll lose the dressing room and the players will pack in. My worry is next year we won't have another division to drop into.
It's really hard to be positive with want I've seen this year.

He won't lose the dressing room because the vast majority of those who played yesterday will be gone. It reminded me of the League Cup QF against Middlesbrough two years ago - when we had a strike force of, you may recall, Uche and Loft. They were gone by the beginning of the next season and so will most of this lot.

Sitting on the train heading for Derby. Well that completed a really awful season. I need a break from all this travelling. 11-0 in the last 2 weeks has really taken it's toll. Yes i know it was Chelsea and i will probably look back differently in a few weeks but i expected better.

We too were on the 8.30 from St Pancreas and were also saying we need a break, but from watching this team. Should really say from watching these players and not team. Players are poor and are not what we need for our team.

Still not 100% convinced on Brady either but maybe we do have to give him a chance first. Hope Carol gives him a free hand to clear out ALL that he thinks need to go and backs him with a budget needed to let us compete at the top end of div 2. Trouble is we then start all over again...

Do we all realise what budget would be needed to get us challenging for promotion next season AND retain most for that same squad for another shot at div 1. OR Do we plan for two or three seasons in Div 2 first and start a complete rebuild. Five year plan ok with everyone ?

WOW what a challenge that is for Carol

I wonder, when the dust has settled, and the fans have taken the “day out” emotion out of it, just how many players can hold their heads up after today’s performance and honestly admit they left EVERYTHING out on that pitch?
And how many fans, when you break it down, regardless of opposition, thought that was an acceptable performance.

Southampton just got in Arsenals faces and made tackles, got stuck in, and wanted it.

We were just happy to be there today and the scoreline reflected it.
Mindset and culture needs changing at this club.
Quickly.

Poor performance. Poor group of players.  No fight.   No " we do not want to lose " attitude.
