I got to know you very well late in the 2000s, early 2010s. 
Cheeky Steve. Bede. Mellor. Rory. Dean Leese. Santa. I’ve missed loads out I know. It’s late. 
There wasn’t many of us but we spent a hell of a lot of time in getting Bratt and co out. 
Years later we opened up fans eyes to Smurthwaite. 
And as time has gone by and certain people (none that I’ve named by the way) have cuddled up to Carol and call themselves supporters, it’s just one step to far now to get together collectively and call it out for what it is. 

Im sure all those names mentioned have different lives and couldn’t really care that much about Vale as they used to. 
And that’s where I am. 
 

I will always love Vale. My dad made me a fan. His dad made him a fan. And his dad made him a fan! 
And that’s what a football club is all about. 
Pure love of a club.

If you had said to me that I wouldn’t go Chelsea away in an FA cup quarter final, 15 years ago, I’d have laughed and ridiculed you. 
But I can’t be arsed with the state of the club, the players, the pathetic CEO, the manager who is happy to be at Chelsea, the owner with her pom poms. 
The club is rotten!!! They have produced a club that is rotten through a nicey nice approach through a hierarchy who just want virtue signaling days out, cosying up to Robbie Williams and the likes, and when it gets tough they or should I say “she”, goes into hiding. 
 

17 million in debt. 
A squad worse than when she took over. 
A club dying on its arse. 
And not many fans can see it. 
 

Port Vale Football Club should NOT be in the 4th division. Period. 
 

And if it were 2010 we would all be in uproar and as a group, that group of great people who I mentioned, and more, we would be calling her out for the calamity that is Port Vale in 2026.

Ive got a small little beauty that probably wouldn’t fit those words on!! 
But we ain’t in 2010 no more and that group of people, who saved the club, have moved on and don’t have the energy, other than posting on here. 
 

The best way to get at Carol and the absolute clown that is Hancock, is keep messaging and keep asking hard questions. 
 

Port Vale have amazing fans. And I do mean amazing. Going to watch this tripe week in week out. The club doesn’t deserve it. 
And Carol Shanahan doesn’t deserve (in my opinion) any of those fans money in the coming weeks through season ticket sales. 

It’s all well and good to have an owner with a bit of money. But she had NO CLUE as to how to run a football club. 
 

The only difference with her and Norman is that she isn’t letting the club rot but by god she has wasted 17 million so far and it keeps going. 
At some point MORE fans need to wake up to the fact that she will NEVER make Port Vale the brand she wants it to be. 

A long rant I know and I could go further. 
She, anyone, can come at me. Message me. It’s painfully obvious this club is on its knees. 

Two options for Carol……

Sell the club. And let someone come in with some proper nous. (Bearing in mind she’s been here for 7 years, debt free, in league two, and we are now 17 million in debt, with a worse squad, in league two next season!) Or…… Sort your <ovf censored> <ovf censored> out Carol. Sack the idiot Hancock. Get a proper structure. 
Employ the BEST director of football available. Cut down on the hundreds of staff that basically are robbing a living. And sort this football club out before the fans leave in droves and we end up in non league.

Port Vale Football Club….. Under YOUR ownership…… Right now……. Are an utter embarrassment to the footballing nation.

Take a back seat. 
Take your family out of the running of the club.

There are are so many people who post on here about how they love the club but will never go again ? The mind boggles, to support a club you support it and not critisise those who dont give up. Go and do whatever you do on Saturdays and leave the supporting to those who support. After 58yrs of constant support and having see Vale play all current other 91 clubs i am entitled to a opinion but dont rate the opinions of people who dont go.

No. It's Dicks like you who expect us to compete with The World Club Champions. I watched the game yesterday on TV. No - we didn't lay a glove on them but they are fantastic, Premier League side and anyone who dreamed we'd get anything out of the match is deluded.

I was hoping we'd lose less then 6; two of those goals were harsh. 

Some of the comments on here are frankly just stupid.

Idk, between fighting amongst ourselves on here and the people I’ve met who lurk on here and don’t post (who mostly don’t care about the ownership since she’s paying the bills)… we seem to have little hope as a club of progressing. 
 

When the relative success of cup runs and promotion years dry up perhaps people will start to unite.

 

I’m willing to overlook the 7-0 given who we were playing and where, but the club isn’t half depressing me with how they are conducting themselves in the media and an organisation. It’s amateur, it’s apathy and I get the sense they don’t really care long as they - the ownership are enjoying the days out - don’t care about anything else. They are conveniently ill and AWOL when sentiment gets negative (when it’s probably munchausens) and everywhere when it’s not. 
 

Going the Vale for me is just a chance for a few beers and watch 22 players kick a ball for 90 mins. But it could and should be so much better. We deserve that much.

Where have I said that ? I would gladly accept the result in return for the cash it has generated , which should be used sensibly.
