IF Garrity had been fit for the majority of this season we would not be in the relegation spot. Captain’s performance from him today and full of grit and determination, and plenty of encouragement to the young players.

Always nice to beat a bogey team.

I remember Baddiel & Skinner once showed an old Bolton club video of Ray Walker’s winner, because they had some sort of ‘quirky’ club commentator.

Ironically, Wanderers were complaining about how much injury time the ref added on.

Just a quick heads up to those in the Lorne Street seats. Thought they were fantastic today winding the Bolton fans up. Loudest I've heard from them for quite a while. P.s.I was not sat there.😆

Fantastic result, please let's follow this up with another and make all the effort worthwhile.

However, I have to hold my hands up and say that I decided not to go today. My second love is rugby league, fixtures rarely clash but today they did and I chose the rugby.

I had a great day, great atmosphere, few beers in the stand in the sun, commited players and a big Warrington win. Everything that Vale hasn't been this season.

Ordinarily Vale would win any fixture clash with me of course, Vale without hesitation. But this season has tested me...... I deliberated and decided the rugby would be more fun. It was great, but there's nothing like a Vale win.

Bolton’s  first defeat since 13 January …… when we beat them in the Vertu!!

Such a pity we didn’t hold on for the Blackpool win. Today was everything Tuesday should’ve been. Got the lead and battled. 

Don’t know if Brady/coaching staff had picked up on who makes Bolton tick but first half I’m sure Rhys W was man marking (never more than 5 yards away ) their number 21.  Not as noticeable in the first 15 minutes of the 2nd half (though think Garrity had picked him up) at which point he was subbed by their number 8. Their 8 then sat a lot deeper and started spraying passes more accurately but without actually creating much and then when he did venture forward he rarely if ever got the better of Funso. Our midfield 3/5 were again very good today (as they were on Tuesday) goes to show if our defence can perform at that level as well (C Hall easily my MoM today though others were still very good) we’re a match for most teams in this league.

Should have known they would win with not going .

As soon as saw team news and Garrity in G Hall in had a feeling we may do well .

Bradys beat Bristol City Bolton and Sunderland 

Seem too really have the set ups great v the big sides 

Its a shame its too late but nice too see the home crowd seeing a win .

As didnt go there is nothing i can add ,just that well done  Vale ...

Was a lad I went to uni with who could do it a lot quicker than that. That kid was drinking them too much. The trick is to literally pour it down your throat - not easy

Positive: win our games in hand and we’re 2 points inside with 21 left to play for.

Negative: the last 4 league games on paper couldn’t be further from ideal.

We’ll overtake Northampton, that’ll be nice for Jon.
