Going back to Connor Hall….. Has there been a better defensive performance in 90 minutes in recent memory?

I can’t think of one.

Whatever he had for lunch, may he have it for the remaining games.

Like me you didn't want Brady but i am just wondering if he has now changed your mind,do you now think he is the right man to take us forward?

I will hold my hands up and say he has certainly swayed me and i am looking forward to seeing how we play next season on a top notch pitch

100% It’s also embarrassing when those with really strong, vitriolic, “I know better than you” posts who wrote him off, play the moaners Trump card of being able to just say “oh I’m glad I’m wrong” and continue on as if they weren’t being a total t*t when they were doing it!

Apologies from me that's for sure,I think you have described me there when he was appointed and i was wrong just like so many others and i am glad i was 🙂

Don't know about us fouling them at will, it was the other way round!

Their tactics regarding that were shocking and they got away with it,every time we broke free in midfield they took the player out with no card, none more so than near the end there was a clear arm pull on Waine paddock side as he was got around his man and right in front of the ref and linesman but not even a free kick there

Bolton’s  first defeat since 13 January …… when we beat them in the Vertu!!

That stat about their first defeat since 13th Jan makes it even madder that a lot of their fans on social media want their manager sacked...... just shows the state of football today

Ey up mate, I wasn’t actually thinking about you.

It was those telling people they were just wrong and stupid for thinking he could be anything other than a disaster.

Good performance yesterday, best since Sunderland. Connor Hall MOM for me and for the second game in a row, a back four seems to suit him a lot better than the back 3 where he’s been very poor. Ojo has suddenly become mr consistent, one bad game in about a dozen games, that pass to release Garrity for his effort was sublime. Good to see Garrity back, he looked a bit rusty but sure he will be a great addition again once up to speed. The pitch is a definite leveller against the so called better teams, such a shame it’s not Chelsea at home.

It would interesting to find out where we would currently sit if the season had started when DM was sacked

Exeter must be on some kinda horrendously bad run as they seem to have joined the Relegation race rather late.....

Exeter haven't won a game since they beat us on the 24th of January as since then their results have been as follows:

Drew 2-2 with Reading, Lost 4-0 to Rotherham, Drew 0-0 with Mansfield, Drew 0-0 with Northampton, Drew 1-1 with Wycombe, Drew 3-3 with Peterborough, lost 5-1 to Bolton, Drew 1-1 with Burton, Lost 2-1 to Barnsley, Lost 1-0 to Lincoln, Lost 4-0 to Cardiff, Lost 3-2 to Luton and Lost against Wigan 2-0 yesterday.

Fourth from bottom, three points adrift but with three games in hand.

Certainly not relegated, although most people were quite satisfied with the way we were playing until all the matches after AFC Wimbledon away which was our last league goal until I think Luton away in December!

I was quite angry at Moore and glad he left but over the past few weeks credit him with promotion and accept had some luck gone our way, like keeping Tolaj, things like that may have seen better outcomes.

Moore is getting stick but looking back, Devante Cole deserves more grief than he had. Didn’t score in that period despite being very well paid to do so, played well against Luton, sodded off to Luton when we were in a desperate state after a utterly unprofessional sulk as captain against Huddersfield….

Fans kept off his back because he appeared to work hard…yet back in 2006 you’d hear goal machine Constantine getting stick for appearing to be lazy! In a comfortable mid table league 1 team!

Luton fans now seeing how bad he is, with no goals since joining and missing several sitters based on reports.

No chance we will get to a predicted 53 points !

Lets not finish bottom and maybe aim for Rotherham but we haven't a cat in hells chance of catching the likes of Wigan, Doncaster, Exeter etc. Probably still more chance of Stoke getting to the Prem than us staying up.

Respectfully disagree.

We don't need to get to 53 points.

2024-25 EFL1 season 47 points (or 46 points and better goal difference) stayed up.

2023-24 EFL1 season 45 points (or 44 points and better goal difference) stayed up.

2022-23 EFL1 season 46 points (or 45 points and better goal difference) stayed up.

This season, my best guess is that the bar will be slightly higher at about 48 points to stay up.

It is a massive match at Doncaster on Tuesday - win that, and we are fully back in the mix.

Same here

Big Match Revisited is on ITV4 now.

Sheffield Wednesday v Vale is coming up from 1978.

Put it on if you want to see a well hit Neil Griffiths penalty.
