I can never understand leaving before the end, even when we’re losing. Should stay until the end to support or give the lads a piece of your mind 🤣

I do sometimes leave 10 or 15 mins before the end for night matches but thats due to getting up at 2.30ish for work the next morning

In them circumstances fair play for turning up

Yeah that’s a good point. Some people definitely have good reasons for going early and let’s face it sometimes it can be like going to watch a painfully bad film at the cinema 🤣

There’s absolutely no excuse for leaving early at a football match when you’re winning by one goal.

Those that do may as well not turn up IF they have to leave early for some strange reason.

You wouldn’t go and watch a film at the cinema and not see how it ends.

Oh I don’t know! Have you ever seen Jeepers Creepers. I’ve still no idea how that film ends and will quite happily never find out 🤣

Fourth from bottom, three points adrift but with three games in hand.

I think you’ve put the wrong starting date in that Santa. Moore was sacked after that abysmal 5-0 defeat against Huddersfield on 29th December so you’ve got an extra defeat in there!

I thought Huddersfield was Boxing Day and Bradford was the 29th

29th was Bradford, Bradys first game though was Mansfield in terms of league games.

The strange reason to you might be perfectly reasonable to some one else,I don't think you should judge other supporters at least they turn up game after game, I sometimes have to leave to get away and beat the traffic.

Respectfully disagree.

We don't need to get to 53 points.

2024-25 EFL1 season 47 points (or 46 points and better goal difference) stayed up.

2023-24 EFL1 season 45 points (or 44 points and better goal difference) stayed up.

2022-23 EFL1 season 46 points (or 45 points and better goal difference) stayed up.

This season, my best guess is that the bar will be slightly higher at about 48 points to stay up.

It is a massive match at Doncaster on Tuesday - win that, and we are fully back in the mix.

Definitely a massive if and I still expect us to go down. But the next week is huge. Donny been rubbish as well and are basically safe so may be on the beach. Wycombe also on the beach. Two very winnable games. It’s the hope that kills you though.

I always ignore your regular childish attempts to pick a fight with me.

But I would be obliged if you didn't tell bare-faced lies about me.

Check all of my posts.

Then, when you have found that there is nothing I have said which substantiates your lie, please have enough about you to post again to withdraw your remark.

I doubt that you have the character to do that, but perhaps you will pleasantly surprise me.

Alan, I am not trying to pick a fight with you.

Show me where you have said you think Vale should sack Moore before Boxing Day and I will admit I am wrong.

We said the same. There was about 5 minutes of injury time left and loads were leaving. 1-0 up in the 94th minute, scrapping like hell. This is what you cone to the Vale for isn't it? Surely getting to your car first isn't that important?

Wasn’t me… I left with half an hour to go. Unfortunately had a family matter I had to go to.

Struggling with that attachment; I think this is the link -

Not surprised that he wants to make it permanent as feeling he is valued there and getting game time. Would they have to pay a fee for him. ? He has a year left on his contract with us..I think but don't suppose we would want him on loan for a full year and then leave on a free. I know we have done it with Hart at Falkirk but not looking for a fee for him. Wonder if Paton said he wanted out or Jon said he would not be required. ?. Wanted it to work for him here but that looks like it is gone.

Reading what St Johnstone fans are saying about him it seems like the jury is still out as some have been impressed by him whilst others haven't so I suppose we will have to see how he gets on in his remaining 6 games. I have to admit I thought he would have scored more than 2 goals for them given the fact that he has played and scored in the division before but I suppose it doesn't help when Valakari has played him as RAM, AM and up front on his own in the last 2 games as IMO he plays better when he has someone playing alongside him. The thing Valakari would have to consider when it comes to a decision on whether or not he signs Ruari permanently is if he thinks he would be able to make the step up to the SPL because when he went to Dundee United on loan last season it didn't work out for him at all as he didn't register a goal or assist whilst he was there nor did he seem to have an impact in any of the games that he played.
