We said the same. There was about 5 minutes of injury time left and loads were leaving. 1-0 up in the 94th minute, scrapping like hell. This is what you cone to the Vale for isn't it? Surely getting to your car first isn't that important?

When I was used to sit in the Bycars a guy in front of me always left on 70 minutes no matter what the score was, I can honestly say I’ve never left a game early and that’s virtually every home game and a lot of away since 1971.

I didn't know where to post this but this league just shows you dont always have to splash the cash and have big name players and 20k crowds to do well, just look at Lincoln, sometimes you just need a good manager and a good way of playing.

We just need to get back here as soon as we can and then see what can happen

I can never understand leaving before the end, even when we’re losing. Should stay until the end to support or give the lads a piece of your mind 🤣

I said exactly the same mate

It’s hardly like there is 20k rushing to the cars

We leave at full time every game and have no traffic issues from dolly’s lane

Nowhere that I heard, and I very much doubt it, would you like to point out where?

A post match quote from Jon Brady in The Valiant Newsletter Alan:

“But forget about staying up and anything like that. All we are trying to do is win the next game and not look too far ahead.”

It could be read as JB having given up on survival or guess could also be the manager is just changing his approach, with him previously saying we’re looking at points returns from blocks of games to now saying we’ll just be taking one game at a time and seeing where we end up. Anyways yesterday’s performance didn’t show any evidence the players have given up on anything yet.

Can we play Bolton every week? Beat them twice this season. How <ovf censored> must they be?

There’s absolutely no excuse for leaving early at a football match when you’re winning by one goal.

Those that do may as well not turn up IF they have to leave early for some strange reason.

You wouldn’t go and watch a film at the cinema and not see how it ends.

Respectfully disagree.

We don't need to get to 53 points.

2024-25 EFL1 season 47 points (or 46 points and better goal difference) stayed up.

2023-24 EFL1 season 45 points (or 44 points and better goal difference) stayed up.

2022-23 EFL1 season 46 points (or 45 points and better goal difference) stayed up.

This season, my best guess is that the bar will be slightly higher at about 48 points to stay up.

It is a massive match at Doncaster on Tuesday - win that, and we are fully back in the mix.

"Slightly higher at 48 points" !

Sorry but it will be in the low 50s.

Bit of a daft statement.

They dicked us 4-0 in November.

We are down.

Brady pretty much said that pre-match.

Thank you, TV, much appreciated.

It's clear that JB absolutely hasn't accepted that we're down and neither have the players.

As they all clearly demonstrated yesterday.

JB's rightly keeping the players focused on putting in a 100% performance in their current game.

Let's look again in a month's time.

I think people are wasting too much time on the maths, personally.

Maybe that helped lift a bit of pressure off the team yesterday, who knows?

The only thing to play for now is the FA Cup (never thought I’d say that come the end of March!), professional pride, but probably most importantly, new contracts.

It’s great if we can go on a run, at least gives us something to build on for next year and hopefully means that a lot of the current season ticket holders renew next year in the hope of a promo tilt.

But as for getting out of the mire this year…..sorry it ain’t happening.

Still, the good news is that “we’ll learn from this”….

Never, ever, give up
