You're missing my point.  It's not what you and I think. As a matter of fact, I agree with you.  It's what damage the experience did to Carol and for that reason, I suspect she won't repeat the experiment!

All she needs to do is invest in a quality DOF and bring in a quality manager. Let her have full run of the club except football related matters where she obviously is out of her depth. Off the field we are in a far better position than when she took over.

Ain't happening Phil. DM is in 'charge' of all things 'football'. So that will be fully integrated into his contract. Until he goes 'all things football' are doomed,as we have seen, and are seeing.

I don’t want Carol gone and what she has done for the club off the field is remarkable, but the issue is a lot of that could be lost now with how bad it is this season. Seeing 8-9k regular crowds it’s what we want, the investment everything but for some reason we can’t get it right on the pitch and it needs an inquest within the club to figure out the solution, as correctly mentioned on the pitch we’ve not really progressed far at all… two promotions is great but both undone and it shouldn’t be that hard to compete in league one, clubs far smaller with smaller budgets like Northampton, Exeter, Stevenage, Burton etc manage it year on year for a sustained period and we managed it under Norman, V2001 etc with far less investment.

I don’t get where it’s all going so wrong… and let’s be also more honest this league one season is poor quality wise compared to the last couple of years we spent here… Cardiff who are top looked woeful and didn’t lay a glove on us in August, Lincoln who are second looked bang average to poor against us the other week… Bradford who were fairly middling going up behind us are up there. It really shouldn’t be that hard to compete here for a club of our size with the backing it has.

So yesterday was when relegation was sealed imo.

Yet again the sub genius cost us the game. I don't think we were going to win it, but we were on for a draw.

A draw would've been a slight positive, as it would keep an unbeaten run on the go and maybe show something in this absolute mess.

Instead we get the tactical masterclass of the subs. Hanging the team out to dry. How is this acceptable? Who is DM accountable for? Making such ridiculous and insane decisions, that consequently lose us the game and pretty much seal our fate and send us back to league 2.

I dunno, apparently we are more sustainable to run at league two level, so maybe that's what all this is about. Fk knows 🙄

Enough is enough, save some face, stop us from being a complete embarrassment, grow a fking pair and get rid. He's useless and detrimental to the club . Or maybe our 'ambition' is to be a league 2 club.

Then it was bad business in the first place not to tie him in to a tighter contract.  If the club thought he had potential, which clearly it did, a more sensibly constructed contract would have ensured he stayed.  Presumably whoever put together his contract on signing im thought that a £1.2 mill release clause was good business.  Clearly not, with his scoring ability where would we be in the league now?  I rest my case.

We would be doing better with Tolaj still here, but not massively so.  Because our football and tactics are poor, which is down to DM.  It was embarrassing how Peterborough outplayed us for 70% of the game yesterday.  We were chasing shadows.  When we did win the ball back it was like 'school yard' football.  Embarrassing.

Yet we still created some decent half chances, but they missed even better ones.

It's blatantly obvious where the problem lies.

Get him gone!

Faal on, Cole to left wing and George Hall to right back.

Didnt get in their half from that moment

Is Faal worse than Loft? Serious question. Was having a debate with my dad but we couldn’t decide.

Nobody listens. Noticeable that media team has disappeared along with Carol CEO etc.

Hiding because no clue how to deal with this situation.

Serious answer? Faal is probably better in the air (as he does at least win some headers, as opposed to Loft), but Loft had better control with the ball at his feet and was quicker. Faal's movement on set pieces is probably better too.

But both are nowhere near League One level strikers.

I'd plump for Loft.

Was utterly garbage but despite that had the odd moment where he bust a gut using his physicality. Very very few occasions though,  and for our older posters he's up there with Martin Henderson and Paterson as the most abysmal Vale strikers.

Faal is like a new born foal, can barely control his legs or feet, couple that with the fact he looks like he couldn't give a crap I'll go for Loft being better.

I've had the same discussion. One  difference though is Loft played because we had no alternative. Now we have an experienced and able forward sat on the bench with Stockley while Faal gets on. He couldn't look less interested if he tried.

Is there a stipulation that we have to play him in a certain number of games? Or is it Moore snubbing Stockley because of him going rogue with the team meeting?
