To be fair to Bowers he’s employed to commentate and ask questions not have a pop.

Bowers questions after the game were a disgrace.
He was basically licking Moores ass.

Sorry if this upsets him again but my god, he didn’t want to upset him at all did he. He just asked generic questions and I’m pretty sure that deep down he wants him gone as the Vale fan that he is. But that interview was utterly delusional from both.

If you listen to the whole thing and not just the video clip they put up online, then he asks him more stuff towards the end of the interview about what his responsibility is, how he feels about being bottom of the league etc.

Without wishing to raise the ire of Bowers number one cheerleader Brian, weve got bigger fish to fry than the local radio bloke.

I'll say this as well, having seen the post match interview process at a home game first hand, there is two other three other reporters who hide behind Bowers and say yes please thank you Darren without ever asking a question.

Totally agree.
How about some questions that aren’t generic though.

Don’t get me wrong, of course we’ve got bigger fish to fry. However, had I been working for radio stoke and being the massive vale fan that Phil is, I wouldn’t be accepting of the managers answers whatsoever and would have followed up.
When he asked about what we can do going forward and Moore piped out his usual guff about working hard and nonsense, I’d be saying well this isn’t working, there were boos at the end again, you seem to have lost a connection with the fans, this can’t go on surely?

And here’s my thing with Phil…. Listen to his commentary. He’s pretty damning. He pulls no punches. And that’s where I think he’s the best in the business.
But don’t give him a mic after the game to the manager because he shits his pants and doesn’t repeat his feelings what he says on comms.

That’s a bit far.
Carol isnt rinsing the club.
It’s in a better place than when they took over. However, not on the pitch. And that’s all fans care about.

What she needs to do is start being a leader. Not that fanny Matt Hancock, not her delusional son, HER.
She needs to go all Maggie Thatcher and sort this out. Now.
Throw her silly pom pom scarf away. Stand up and be counted and if she can’t because she’s clueless then employ someone who can.
Heads must roll.
Moore. The coaching staff. And Hancock.
That’s a start.
Starting on Monday.

Behave her decisions or lack of, are killing the club

I am not asking Carol to sell up and leave. What I am asking her to do is treat the Vale as a business and judge DM on his results . If this was any other business, any other football club, he would have been justifiably sacked already based  purely on performance,  not emotion. We are on a shocking run of results, what Carol  are you expecting DM to do in the next few games to change our fortunes that he hasn't been able to do in all the previous League games that we have lost. He has lost the fans, that never ends well. Loyalty is admirable, blind loyalty is foolishness. What I got from Phil Bowers interview with DM is that even DM doesn't believe he can turn it around anymore, you can hear it in the lack of conviction in his voice. He is a man waiting and expecting to be sacked. Put him and the vast majority of the fan base out of this misery whilst there is still a chance of League 1  survival. Admittedly getting slimmer whilst Rome burns and Carol dithers.

Hall.was playing very well couldnt believe he went off what was is injury?

Headley 6

Waine 5

Walters 6

Croasdale 5

Hall 8

Cole 4

Paton 4

After a start where waine should head in ,and then Cole should put halls cross  away, both made by the excellent G Hall and lively Clark ,Waine put one straight at keeper thats  in first 13 mins when C Hall on ,Paton had one deflected wide after that apart from Debrah volley which if he was playing for a top of the league team it flies in ,and Cole second half from yet another quality ball in which really he should head in you gotta say they were the better side and deservedly won

All these injuries are not helping missed G Byers today, the list just gets longer and longer .

How did Rauri stay on not involved today,at all for me today , why not bring shipley on for him and Cole for the love of Vale he is not the answer could have changed it and had stockley up there on his tod he certainly holds the ball up better than anyone else i havent seen Cole have one good home game yet where i think damn we lucky have him,Tolajs workrate alone he is miles better than him .

Lost all hope now very disappointed that once again a bad substitution has lost us the game why not bring lomax on .

We dont play like a team desperate score if going play high press every player got to be at not just for first 13 minutes for the whole game .

When was the last time a player drove into the box ,and got brought down ,surely Moore could see that once C Hall had departed the field he needed another midfielder ,in there as the opposition were beginning find there feet .

I dont think he sees what he should be seeing ,its like ok we will carry on with this system even though the departure of impressive C Hall had knocked the confidence out the players ,he reacts too slowly too everything why not not drop G Hall into midfield with Croasdale and Walters and put Curtis on Right and Shipley too the left instead he puts Curtis on the left ,leaves Paton on who was anomynous and leaves Cole on who quite frankly lets  opposition out far too easily for my liking .

Another 0 at home how manys that this season at home

Value for money NOT, although i still maintain we have played better this relegation season,  than last 2 times getting relegated from this league yet we seem too be dogged by poor finishing ,and a manager who is out of his depth

Id expect him he sacked today

Season of goodwill too all men ,and all that ,CS cannot let this continue we wont have anybody left wanting watch us.

Folk aint going give up there free time, watch a team who come the crunch, cannot and have not got the moral fibre be anything other than soft ,and nothing like how the support want them be

Look at the casualty department ,seems like no one wants play cause we are bottom ,hiding behind injuries .

Johnson Gordon Garrity Gabriel Ojo Humpfries (he was concussed a week ago how long does it take get over that )Byers John unfortunate as best 2 players in my opinion  ,have i missed anyone .

On the pitch…. Yes.
Off it…. No.
All in all she’s an amazing football club owner but <ovf censored> me she doesn’t help herself in times of despair.
And this is what she needs to realise. Because without the fans her “business” is nothing.

And that’s why she needs to sack Moore within 48 hours or pay the consequences.

Carol/leadership needs to start by being proactive. There are no guarantees it will work out better but it’s always better to do something than stand still. The gap isn’t insurmountable but unlikely — we need some leadership, and that starts with removing Moore, Darnbrough and reset.

I’m all for the secondary club improvements but not at the expense of the first team. Bystander syndrome and hope is not going to turn things around.

What I can’t stand and what is weak is not owning and embracing mistakes. If she wants to give up / step back after a couple of hiccups that’s up to her but I’d still welcome her involvement somewhere. Perhaps she could find investment for the men’s team going forward, and she could focus on the foundation and women’s footballing side. I’m sure that side of the club would welcome the investment and push.

I would suggest that the emotional breakdowns over a relegation or step backs perhaps shows she doesn’t really understand the business and perhaps best to bring in somebody who can handle that side. It’s men’s football, maybe more fervent and reactionary than a lot of standard business, so criticism shouldn’t be taken too personally.

It’s another Vale mess , we can’t defend, can’t dominate the midfield , aren’t creative and we can’t convert the many chances we make . It horrible and if I had any common I wouldn’t go again , but my love and support of the club runs deeper than all that I mentioned, I will still turn up shout for the lads yes , will turn up when relegated yes , am a total fool yes. The season is done if we keep DM , the players are confused, the coaching staff look confused , the fans look confused, the management sit on there hands while Vale Burn . Get him gone Vale and maybe I will get my sanity back .

So who are you going to get to buy the club..??
That woman (and her husband) has put her money where her mouth is - without her I doubt we'd even be in existence any more.
Who else is going to put their money in.
Serious and genuine question. Or would you prefer for Bake to go out of business.

As I said earlier, she's done some great things in the club, no doubt about it. But there are at least a dozen other owners of league 1 clubs who are slapping millions up the wall every year, in the exact same manner as Carol. Let's not pretend that there's nobody out there who would do the same, because we have the evidence. The difference between these owners and Carol is that they're doing a lot better job at it.

And if they are putting their money into other clubs why would they come and do it at Vale.

I think I'm classed as an old un, I'm just apathetic now, gone through frustration, anger and lastly looking for excuses for the the club, injuries, poor referees and bad luck, over the years even in relegation seasons we have won a few home games scored a few goals, made a fist of it, not any more, DMs record in this division is unacceptable.

I sort of understood last time when he said the players were down and lacking in confidence so there's no point getting into them, but he should have been capable of fashioning a couple of wins to avoided relegation, just the same as this season, no idea how to out wit the opposition manager, for me personally the writing was on the wall early October I sensed relegation and I can't see anything changing that now, I want to win every game but now I'm just apathetic to the whole situation.

Same here , my anger has gone , apathy has set in , accepting we are in a right mess and relegation looks a certainty.

Well i make it 1500 season ticket holders didnt turn up yesterday .

For a xmas game not a really poor attendance but not good either, however what do you expect with us bottom of the league .

I dont know whether its me but we always at home start games off well miss everything ,our most influential players hobble off ,like Johnson v Wycombe around 20 mins Hall yesterday .

Like a circus ,very worrying that hardcore followers are deciding no more home games ,but will honour the away but aways  a day out so you can enjoy them even if footballs naff .

Over yesterday now i came away very frustrated in what i saw .

ive had many disagreement with spunkers viewpoints over the years. but hes 100% spot on with this. hancock is useless . the coaches and moore have to all be gone monday morning. someone said on the radio moore should be taken off the front line and moved upstairs as an advisor - not a totally bad idea as he has many contacts in the game. but we need a clearout and a few players need moving on in january. we need a minimum of 4 fresh bodies in the door who will IMPROVE the team. Over to you Carol.
