You’ve got no friends.

If we ‘keep the faith’ with Moore, we’ll end up in League Two again, and maybe even in the National League, with about 2,000 in VP each match, if that. There is zero positive progress that shows anything is going to turn around. He’s not John Rudge or Alex Ferguson FFS

And of course there is the best one .He hasn’t connected with the and just runs down the tunnel at the end of games instead of getting abused. It does the players no good being abused.Nor anyone else at the club.Carol is the best owner we’ve ever had .Don’t spoil it because you think you know better. You don’t!!
This phrase is becoming overused. There's at least a dozen clubs in this league throwing millions of pounds up the wall but they're doing a much better job. For our 'best owner ever', we're not really getting anywhere are we? In fact, next season we're likely to be in a worse position than when they took over. Your bar for 'best owner ever' is pretty low.

Are you serious or pissed? There's got to be about 5 people in our entire fanbase who still support Moore. As they say, there's one born every minute....

Did the nurse slap your mother’s arse when you were born?

Darren was asked in the post match interview, if he was frustrated.  Frustrated doesn't even come close! I would think the words FURIOUS and UPSET would be more appropriate.  Frustrated smacks of an unlucky defeat of not such significant importance. Personally I thought this was a must win game and if you can't win make absolutely sure you don't lose! I accept we had injury issues compounded further with losing Connor Hall early in the game, but we didn't really look.like scoring again to be honest. I can't remember only having won one league game at home at this stage of the season, and I've been a season ticket holder for many many years. Frustrated didn't even cross my mind, I was livid and upset, we come to Vale Park because we love Port Vale . I don't want to return to league two again, we are better than that. If relegated in our year 150 would be very upsetting and much much more than frustrating. Today we'll done George Hall Ben Amos and my favourite player Mitch Clarke.  We must be more resilient and show a mind set not to be beaten at home  by teams who are nothing special or not better than ourselves. We have been brushed aside too often and it really is unacceptable to have only one league home win

I love Mitch. Mine and my sons favourite player. Leaves it all on the pich every game

We are stuck with Moore folks, get used it. Similarly, we are also going down. Anyone expecting us to get reinforcements in the January window, think again. Firstly, who in their right mind would want to come, secondly why  gamble when it’s too late.

So, do we trust Moore to get us up a 2nd time? If me the answer is no. As you know I wanted him out in the November after Walsall at home.

A touch premature? Maybe, but to me it was clear, on the pitch Moore wasn’t laying long-term foundations or giving us an identity. More full, low-risk, football on game-by-game basis trying to eke out enough narrow wins by piece of individual magic or set-piece..

So more of the same no-doubt.

Who in their right mind would want to come?
Big money. Big contracts. Protected. I’d say there would be dozens of applicants.
Secondly, it’s not too late.
Peterborough were dreadful and looked doomed weeks ago. They sacked their manager and now have won 5 out of 7.
If Carol pulls her finger out, we could have a run like that with a new manager and give ourselves hope.

On to last season, we would not have gone up if we didn’t have Tolaj.
Now we are in a league higher, without Tolaj and fans waxing lyrical over Ojo. And yes I know he’s injured but if you were waxing lyrical about him, it just shows how bad we’ve been and why we are a country mile away from anyone at the bottom.

The whole thing is an absolute footballing mess.

This is the same clueless <ovf censored> that relentlessly backed Smurthwaite, telling others to put up their millions to buy him out.

<ovf censored> deluded old <ovf censored>!

I don’t mean to be disparaging of older supporters at the Vale, the Golden Valiants lot but they feature heavily in our marketing and I believe Carol feels close and a connection with them. It stands to reason many share experiences like Alan has, they’ve watched us going through much worse and are really just grateful there’s a club to watch on Saturdays come whatever.

From all that I don’t think Carol really understands that success comes first, and breeds community second. Doing everything backward will be what kills the club. Investment in the first team is needed to sustain and grow. It can not be done through values and community alone.

Not all old uns are satisfied to just have a club. The old fellas sat near me looked like their hearts were gonna give out they were that angry at the end.

Ill say it . I want her gone. Turgid football year after year and she hasnt got a clue how to run a football club. Its a vanity project yes she saved us. But i dont enjoy watching my football team play football and i havent for pretty much 4 years.... mistakes after mistakes and her nepo baby paddy what qualifies him to have any say on how to run a football club.

So who are you going to get to buy the club..??

That woman (and her husband) has put her money where her mouth is - without her I doubt we'd even be in existence any more.

Who else is going to put their money in.

Serious and genuine question. Or would you prefer for Bake to go out of business.

Ah but they’ve been having “recruitment conversations”… sadly not about his job it seems

As I said earlier, she's done some great things in the club, no doubt about it. But there are at least a dozen other owners of league 1 clubs who are slapping millions up the wall every year, in the exact same manner as Carol. Let's not pretend that there's nobody out there who would do the same, because we have the evidence. The difference between these owners and Carol is that they're doing a lot better job at it.

Interim manager for me , experienced non nonsense type - 6 month deal , keep us up , then have a look at it in the summer .

The old adage that you can’t criticise an owner if you don’t buy the club yourself.

By that mad logic, you can’t criticise a Prime Minister if you don’t run for office yourself. Hope you’ve never dared hold political opinion, lads.

It’s a nonsensical argument. It Carol wanted to sell up for market value there would be people who wanted to buy PVFC. I dare say they’d perhaps be a little bit more sensible at making football decisions, because right now my dog would have a better crack at it.

I don’t want her to sell, for reference, though I’m significantly less bothered either way now than I used to be.
